I come here very often to get sushi, and it tastes very delicious! They normally get your order spot-on, but sometimes they mess up, and even give you the wrong type of sushi, though it happens rarely. The Ebi Maki is my favourite, and would definitely recommend it! Although I always consider sushi shop high-end fast food, one menu item that is always consistently made to perfection is their poke bowls, and this specific location never disappoints! Friendly and helpful staff and generous portions for a fair and competitive price
They raised prices up to 30% but failed to provide extra soya sauce. Really? With an order $180? Is it joke or what?
If you order a miso soup consider it again because it’s just boiling water with similar sea food but the miso itself tastes nothing like it should. Just hot water… EDIT: After my review sushi shop emailed me and resolved the issue professionally with 0 problem. I respect them for that reason. I really recommend you go there and even if you have a problem you can email them and they will help you with it! Thank you!!
I ordered a 100 piece box set for my brother's birthday and it was so delicious! Everything was done perfectly, the box that the sushi came in was so pretty. Gave us lots of soy sauce and chopsticks. Honestly, if im going to spend over $100 for sushi, I would definitely go back here!
I ordered via sushi shop Uber eats, and I had the order ready for pick up, and the Uber eats driver picked it up and said it wasn't able to deliver when it was on its way. Very poor communication with the driver and as well as sushi shop. Not impressed by their service.
I had a scheduld pick up and upon arrival the food wasn't ready. The cashier kept on telling me told that it would be ready soon. After 1 hr wait the food was finally ready. She said sorry for the wait and that's it. I would expect a more sincere appology and they should of put a rush considering they were extremely late. Other clients were behind and got their food before me. I would expect that they would provide some kind of compensation and a more sincere apology. Very disappointed at the service.
I always enjoyed coming here to pick up sushi from the ready-made selection in the fridge. Last time I went, the lady stopped me from picking up the item I wanted I assume because of covid. This is the only place in town that won’t let you pick up the products you’d like to see yourself. I want to look through the selection for what I want like I would at any store. When you stop this practice, you’ll have my business again.
My family and I have only ever had negative encounters with this location, they would typically forget items in our orders. On top of that, whenever we would go pick up our orders we would often see other customers complaining about something that went wrong with their order. Today, we had previously called to place an order for pick up one hour in advance. When I arrived to pick up the order, they could not find it and proceeded to try to convince me that I must have I called the wrong location. When I proved that I had called their location, they then miraculously found my order and proceeded to make my order already 20 minutes after I was supposed to have picked it up. During this time we got no apology or update as to what was going on and finally, 40 minutes after my pick up time, my food was ready. Once at the cash, the worker proceeded to give me a very insincere apology and would not compensate me for my time. When I told him I would not be returning to this location given all our negative experiences he proceeded to tell me "that's ok". On top of all this, they still got our order wrong. So all in all I will be giving this location a 1 star for the terrible customer service and will be giving Sushi Shop St-Charles our business from now on. We understand that COVID is a trying time for all businesses, however, this is no way to treat your paying customers
Food quality was excellent, but service was terrible. I ordered in advance and they made me wait more than 30 minutes after they said I should arrive. They misplaced parts of my order and I had to keep asking for these to be prepared, then wait, then remind them again, then wait, then remind them. No apologies, or caring from the staff in any way. Will not return.
