What an incredible gem we came across! If you’re in the area looking for incredible Japanese food, look no further. Everything was so tasty and fresh and made with perfection. The staff and owners were lovely and hospitable. If this place was closer to Vancouver, you can bet I would come back to try out EVERYTHING on their menu. 10/10!!
A special little sushi place. The owners care and deliver as if you were in their very own kitchen. The food was delicious, they even had Toro on the menu! Very fair prices. What a wonderful surprise to find this place and its creators. Make a reservation and enjoy!
You knew the restaurant had the right vibe as soon as you walked in. My favorite was a sign on the table "food made by Japanese Cooks." True, so true. Japanese beer, but then the extra mile 7 to 10 different types of sake. Bubble tea!!! If you like Sushi you will be pleasantly surprised and satisfied.Food: 5/5
The rice was definitely not fresh, the sushi portions were tiny but we did enjoy the flavours. Paying $4 for a bowl of plain possibly microwaved or over cooked white rice is not cool. The rice in our sushi rolls was also super hard. Not what I would expect paying such a high price for our meal. It's too bad really, we were excited when we read such good reviews!
Sushi was amazing! The three women working in there worked their butts off! I can't wait to go again!! Make sure to make a reservation or else you may not get in.
The first time we dined here, we were unaware that dine in position was for reservations, however the most accommodating staff ever allowed us to dine in anyways The food was amazing,. Best miso soup hands down. Sashimi was fresh and exceptionally tasty The Beef tataki is to die for aswell. We dined there a second time and we were remembered from our first visit. The lovely server even asked if my partners broken collar bone was healed as she was not wearing her sling 10 out of 10
Quaint place with honest food without the big city prices. We were pleasantly surprised to have found this spot while visiting Fairmont. It appears to be run by a family who take pride in making their dishes as they would back home. I was surprised to find homemade Tomogayaki in my Chirashi where, typically, it is from a pre-packaged product for convenience. Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to try their homemade ice cream, but will hopefully be back again!
Always a great dinner experience. Friendly service, exceptional sushi. A little hidden gem in the valley.
We didn’t know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. Food was awesome and service was exceptional! Maybe the best meal in Fairmont.Recommended dishesTempura, Shrimp Tempura, Sushi, Roll
