Amazing sushi! We had an assortment of maki and special rolls. Everything was very fresh. Try the Volcano Roll - it'll blow your mind mild pun intended. Honestly so good we ate there 2 nights in a row.nDefinitely best sushi in CR.
Great family run business. Food was awesome, I've been in town for a few days trying out different places. Their sushi was perfect, not too heavy on the sauces and made fresh. The staff were great and the place was clean. The prices were very affordable. I bought the same meal from a local competitor, it was $10 more and the food wasn't as good. Highly recommended Sushi Jo!
So disappointing felt like I was being yelled at by the old lady taking orders, she was rude and pushy to me and mean to her staff. I guess I would have looked the other way if the food was good- It was not. Not tasty or balanced in flavours. Nothing special, go somewhere else
Despite my two troll like Children who arrived with attitude and “feelings” this restaurant was amazing. The food was very well presented and it all tasted delicious. Friendly staff in a great location with reasonable prices.nnCampbell River is proving to be an amazing town for restaurants. So.... many good places to eat
Poor service. Food is good.n1.we been seated for 25 mins, until the food is served BUT there’s not even a cup of water before the food, until we asked several times.nAltho that, the front server was mad to say —IS THERE ANYTHING YOU NEED BUT THE WATER. Which kind pissed me off, I think the first thing when client sits on the table, you need at least serve the water first while we waiting for the food. after that she spilled the udon soup on the table, but she apologized for that, still Ruined the mood. Also i ordered green tea and miso soup as well when I first ordered, but they both served the last when i requested 3-4 times, so which means she forgot it.nI don’t like the attitude of me being a customer but got that attitude, and this is my first time to have 0% tips.
