Was recommended to try Sushi Hoshi. Came along with 2 friends and was really just expecting a regular Sushi Joint with sub par food with little choices. Boy was I wrong. We were ordering from a tablet with so many choices and variations, we just wanted to try them all.nnOnce food was placed with the tablet, food arrived very very quickly and you know it is fresh when the Prawn Tempura that arrived within 2 minutes was piping hot and crispy.nnWe wanted to order literally everything but middle of round 2 we were already quite full so we slowed right down. Managed to finish all the food with no leftovers leftovers are charged at $1 per piece. Order some Green Tea Matcha Ice Cream to wash it down.nnOverall I really enjoy this place and would definitely visit over and over again.nnValue for moneynGood Quality FoodnNice AtmospherenFriendly Staff
Best Sushi Place! Very well situated in St-Jerome, Quebec Galleries des Laurentides 5 star restaurant in my opinion! Amazing variety of Sushi, salad, drinks, beverage and ice cream flavours! We really like the All-You-Can-Eat style if restaurant with the ordering from the tablet. Truly recommend and price is reasonable. See pictures, you will understand !! : Just off HWY 15. Overall a good place to eat! Love the iPad concept. Servers/hostesses seemed a bit preoccupied by personal business and were a bit rude towards each other but not towards clients.
We arrived an hour before closing time. They asked us to order everything we wanted on the first order. We didn't mind, so we did.nThey brought us the hot desert before everything else. So I had to eat it before any other meal. In the middle of the meal, they started taking our plates when we hadn't finished yet. 30 minutes before closing time, they asked us to pay and started clearing the table. We hadn't even finished before the soy sauce was taken away. This made us hurry up and not enjoy the restaurant experience. The food wasn't very good either. The meat was cold, not all sushis felt fresh. Very disappointed. Will not be going back.
The only fall back is the menu is a little limited, the good was good but not the best. Atmosphere I'm slightly biased cause I'm sure had we had a booth I'd be happier but we were squished next to people which is my pet peeve !
