Very good and friendly service. Stopped by to do take out but then decided to have our lunch inside to save the trash. We ordered the Lawyer combo and the Raw combo for lunch which come with a very good miso soup and a delicious cucumber salad. We dipped our sushi in the salad sauce because we liked it so much. Great quality, great service. Would always go there again.
Great food, fantastic service what more could you want?
High quality fish hands down. Recently when we go out, we have been testing the wait staff with our 16 month old. This is not necessarily by choice, it’s the reality of parenting. The wait staff at Sushi Hana was quite considerate of our needs. 5 out of 5. I’ve been to a lot sushi joints. Sushi Hana is my new by far. The wife agrees too. Primo eats and a chill atmosphere.
I hate to give such a bad review, but I have never before, in any restaurant, been served food that I was scared to eat... The fish here looks, smells, and tastes like it will make you sick. I have only ordered the sushi, so I cannot speak to the ramen or other cooked items. When I ate here the first time, I thought the quality was shockingly bad, but that it could have just been an off day. I was later invited to eat here with friends, and decided to give it a second chance, and it was just as bad. I could not finish the food either time. The service is also quite slow, although the staff are nice.
What an absolute gem. Not only is their sushi AMAZING but they offer plentiful vegan and vegetarian options as well without feeling like you’re missing out on the sushi experience! The service was top notch— our waitress seated us 15 minutes before closing and never acted like it was an inconvenience. She was courteous, efficient, and ensured we were comfortable and unrushed. The lunch specials are *truly* that: specials! They’re extremely affordable, yet filling, and come with a delicious little cucumber salad careful, it’s not vegetarian and a miso soup. The downtown location has a great dine in experience with large windows and lots of natural light— love the ambiance. Can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu.
If you’ve never been out of Montana, sure, this is probably good for you. If you have traveled outside of Montana, don’t have high expectations. The sushi rice was cold sushi rice should never be cold and didn’t seem very fresh. The rolls weren’t wrapped well. The tempura batter was too thick. The worst part for me, was that they charged me $2 to add cream cheese to a roll. That’s basically the cost of a whole package of cream cheese and the roll had hardly any in it!!! I’ve eaten at probably 100 sushi restaurants and have never paid more than $1 to add cream cheese. I also think it’s a bad business practice to have a high charge like that and not tell the person. Disappointed.
Incredible service, all the servers were so kind. Not the best quality fish, priced high. Atmosphere was whatever. Saketome was better in my opinion.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
I used to like this place but.. i just went there, i havent gone in a long time. They said my food would be ready at 5:25pm. I showed up at 5:30, the guy at the front said it would be a couple more minutes. I didnt get my food till 6pm. I waited a half hour longer than they told me, just standing there watching them joke around and text the whole time. They told me i was waiting for my soft shell crab to get done. That doesnt take a half hour to make!!! It wasnt done until i asked for a refund then all the sudden it was done. And then i get home, check my food, and this is what i waited over a half hour for…. They didnt even give me my full order of soft shell crab, you know, the thing i waited over a half hour for. These guys have gone down hill. VERY poor management for sure. Id replace the manager asap if i was them.
The Ramen and Sushi are great here, the chicken katsu is a must have!! I would make it 5 stars, but unfortunately I dont actually like dining in the restaurant itself.
Salmon was cut a little thin, and there was cross contamination between the vegan and shellfish rolls I didn't order since I'm allergic. Beautiful presentation though!
