Sushi Edoichi

Very fresh, excellent choices, loved the green dragon roll and the rainbow roll! We called in our order to pick up. The takeout counter is located inside a grocery store that specializes in Asian ingredients. What a great find! Next time I'm in Winnipeg I'll be coming back here!

This place is DELICIOUS! We just ordered from them through Skip and I think it’s our new favourite sushi place. The rolls are packed with quality filling not just cucumber like a lot of other sushi places. They actually give you very generously rationed rolls. My boyfriend said the chicken roll tasted like a whole chicken wing was in one piece. The salmon sashimi was some of the best I’ve had in the city. We will definitely be ordering again!

The sushi was fabulous good portions and delicious, but I want to call out a small thing. When we got our sushi delivery someone had gone through the effort to label the container lid so that we could easily figure out what each roll was. Such a small detail, but I think it speaks to the care they put into their work.

The service was amazing. The staff took my mother and my orders very close to closing time. Portions are MASSIVE. Very much a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

I am a hard person to impress with sushi, however once I had sushi at edoichi, I had to agree with the reviews. The rolls were on the small side and were expensive I had red dragon and tnt but the flavor was awesome. 10/10 for taste on the tnt roll. I would definitely recommend!

Found this restaurant on skip and fell in love. Picked up at the location, staff was nice and restaurant tidy. Quality of the food is great for the price.

Tried them though skip. Sadly would not order from here again, very mediocre/poor sushi. The larger size rolls just fall apart when you pick them up. Not much flavour or quality. If you really like sushi order somewhere else.

Very good! Got a mix of veggie and non veggie sushi. Would definitely get again and do reccomend! The rolls were huge and delicious

They need training in handling gluten intolerances. I instructed them that I had a gluten intolerance and needed some ingredients to be avoided. They didn’t remove them, blaming me for not giving straightforward instructions, and even packed the violating roll with my other, which would have been fine if they hadn’t cross contaminated. When I called the chef was yelling in the background that it’s all my fault and there would be no recourse. No interest in learning what horrible mistakes they made. They could have made someone incredibly ill. Such a terrible experience.
