Sushi Cove

I came here while visiting the area b/c their online menu showed very reasonable prices. I was the only customer when I arrived so they prepared my sushi rolls right away, on the spot. Super fresh and delicious but some could've been a bit more put together. I got the spicy salmon roll and tempura shrimp with avocado 12-14 pieces total, I believe Came to about $15 with tax. Would definitely go back. Parking: Only a few parking spots and a little tricky to get in and out b/c they're at a busy intersection but worth the hassle.

Best sushi I've had in Halifax so far. Very fresh, filling, and affordable relative to the quality. We got the Philadelphia Rolls, Golden Dragon Rolls, and Smoked Salmon Nigiri. I genuinely can't pick which one I liked the most, they were all incredible. If you're a sushi fan in the area, make sure to stop in and have a bite.

Lovely family run business that has beautifully presented and fresh sushi with original roll combos and the crispiest tempura! Best sushi in Halifax. What took us so long to find this little gem??

Ordered sushi for takeout, very fresh and tasty, even the tempura remained crispy after the drive home. Ordered black dragon, unagi nigiri, salmon and butter fish sashimi, salmon lovers combo and assorted tempura.

Not a great place to eat! IT IS AN EXCELLENT PLACE!! Can I give this place 10 stars please?? Walking into this small but cozy restaurant is like stepping into a whole new country! Because it is built as the back deck/kitchen area of a house, it feels like you’re in a small mom and pop restaurant back in Asia! Not to mentioned that the restaurant is owned and operated by a mom and pop! A family restaurant where everyone helps out! Dad is the chef, mom is the sue chef/cashier and kids help out mom and dad once in a while picking up empertigo plates from satisfied customers that have left! The food is fantastic! Very fresh tasting ingredients that you can tell we’re bought early that day! Seafood miso soup is served with a sweet fresh scallop, shrimp, imitation crab seaweed and tofu. A must try are the Red Dragon, golden dragon, volcano role and tiger role! If sushi is what you have in mind to eat, please give this place a try! About the only negative thing I can say, is that you can tell that the restaurant has been operating for a long time and could use an upgrade, otherwise it’s to die for!

This is a cozy family restaurant. My kid loved the seafood udon. I liked the sushi! Good value for money! Will definitely go again.Food: 5/5

We ordered take out from Sushi Cove this evening while visiting Halifax. Mostly based on reviews here. We were not disappointed. The ingredients were all very fresh and the sushi was perfectly prepared. Absolutely delicious! It wasn't inexpensive but the prices were very reasonable. My family would highly recommend. If we are ever back in the area again we will certainly visit again.

Phenomenal sushi at a very good price. I’ve been living in Halifax for a few months now and this is my favourite place. Highly recommend the Tokyo rolls and the Takoyaki! Staff are very kind and conversational. Will be introducing more people to this lovely spot.

We just moved to the area and ordered take out from Sushi Cove, we were so impressed by the size of the rolls, presentation, and portion of fish to rice. Great value. We will be regulars, and happy to support local. Keep up the great work!Recommended dishesSushi
