Sushi Bella Restaurant

Here’s the thing. The food is good here, but here’s the tip. Before you order anything, scour the walls for specials before ordering. For example, a pint of beer is 3.99 on special. We didn’t see it so we ordered a pitcher which was $18. In a pitcher, you get about 4 pints so obviously we asked if we could have an adjustment. She said no and we said, it would have been nice to have been told about the special. She said sorry. But for $2 dollars, a restaurant would risk that little for a customer to not come back again and spend $80 for dinner. Blows my mind. The Bella tower was really good. Everything pictured was good. But their business practice I can’t stand so I won’t be coming back based on principle.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots in all of Vancouver. The Volcano Sushi Pizza is the best thing on the menu. I could eat 3 of them in one sitting. Servers are so attentive and efficient, and the food is so fresh and presented beautifully. It's a small space but they do their best to seat and serve efficiently, so I've always gotten a table quickly. I also call and order for pick up often, and they do a great job getting big orders together in about 15 minutes. My boyfriend loves the pork kimchi hotpot, and it's pretty tasty as well.

My new favorite sushi place. I'm vegetarian, so often struggle to find creative sushi options. No disappointment here - beautiful and tasty dishes whipped up really quickly for a reasonable price. Here's the rice paper roll, agedashi tofu trio, veggie tempura and mango salsa roll. Highly recommended.

What wonderful presentation and food they have. It is just very expensive for what it is. $3.99 beer was great though. Good for a fancyish date.
