Unreliable company to do business with. Here is a timeline of my attempt to order an SMA-to-F adapter online. Instead of expressing frustration, I'll let you read on and you can be the judge: Nov. 18, 2015: Order placed. Automated e-mail confirms that Surplustek has received the order. Charge appears on credit card. Nov. 23: E-mail from Surplustek says, "We have no more. The next order will be in 5 to 10 business days. Do you still want the order?" I reply, "Yes, please continue with the order and send the item once your stock has been replenished." Dec. 19: I e-mail Surplustek asking for an update on the status of my order. No response. Dec. 24: I e-mail Surplustek, again asking for a status update. Dec. 24: E-mail from Surplustek (despite my e-mails of Nov. 23 and Dec. 19!) says, "We were waiting for an answer from you. The message was in your account. Do you still want the order because it will take 5 more business days and maybe more with Christmas." I reply, "Yes, I still do want the order...", citing the date and time of the Nov. 23 e-mail. Jan. 4, 2016: I ask Surplustek via e-mail for an estimated delivery date. No response. Jan. 6: Again, I ask Surplustek for an update on my order's status. Jan. 7: E-mail from Surplustek says, "The connector is coming but it will take around 5 days to get it because the company where is coming was close between Christmas and New Year. We also have a lot of delay with all our orders. Sorry but we can do it faster." [sic] I reply, "Understood -- thanks for the information!" Jan. 30: I e-mail Surplustek asking for an update on the order's status, informing them that the order will need to be canceled and refunded if the product is not shipped within seven days. No response. Feb. 5: I e-mail Surplustek asking if the order has been shipped, and instructing them to cancel the order and issue a refund if it has not been shipped by Feb. 6. No response. I also try getting their attention over Twitter. Still no response. Feb. 6: I e-mail Surplustek, "Has this order been shipped? If it has not already been shipped, Order . . . must be canceled and my payment must be refunded within the next seven days. Thank you." No response. Feb. 11: I e-mail Surplustek to inform them that, as there is no indication that anything had been shipped by the Feb. 6 deadline, a refund is due and that the order remains canceled. Feb. 11: E-mail from Surplustek says, "We just received the connectors Sorry for the delay but we can ship the order tomorrow morning. If you still not want the order we have no more access to refund your money. The only way to do it is to contact Paypal." Feb. 12: I respond that I no longer need the product as I have already ordered and received an acceptable substitute from another company.
