I was excited to try out this new Persian restaurant in The Burnaby Heights neighborhood. Inside the decor is modern and the waiter is nice. There is live music but was it a little loud, I had trouble hearing our conversations. Food was delicious. We ordered a bunch of dishes & shared family style. My favourite was the walnut stew & almond stew. Everyone else liked the lamb but unfortunately that’s the only meat I don’t eat. They are generous with their rice, each dish came with a plate of rice & it’s cooked perfectly. The take out containers are nice too. Overall it was very good value. I will come back again.
Started with a lovely complimentary tea. The food was excellent with generous portions. Koobedeh was moist and tasty And the eggplant dip was fantastic! Nice ambiance, affordable prices and music too. We will definately come back again.
We came here for lunch and it wasn't very busy. The interior is very cozy with comfortable seatings. The owner is super nice and explained the menu to us very patiently. Everything tasted delicious even the tea they served! We also had a free dessert to wrap up! Love this place will return for sure!
We were excited that this was on our side of town and wouldn't have to drive over the bridge for Persian food. The space is clean and well lit. The food was a major disappointment. The rice was soggycooked with too much water. The eggplant dip was not good at all. The bread that came with the dip was stale and hard as a rock, we couldn't believe they even served it. We found the lamb salty. We ordered wine with our meal. Our server pretty much just dropped the bottle and 2 glasses off without even offering us a taste or opening the bottle for us. Very disappointed and we will continue to drive over the bridge for Persian food in the future.
Picked up some take out from this place. I get the feeling it is family run as the service was quite personable and very good. The food was delicious and full of strong flavours. Can't remember the name of the dish, but we had a chicken dish with lemon, a roasted tomato on rice and that was a home run; it really hot the spot. Chicken is usually at the mercy of how you season it or sauce it, and each bite was flavourful as the next. If you try one dish, let this be it!
Amazing, clean and cozy place with super friendly and polite staff. I really enjoyed having the best ever yummiest Persian cuisines with my friends. So highly recommended.
Food tastes ok, services was also average and atmosphere was also average. We went on a weekday so there wasn't any live music. Comparing to the other Persian restaurants in the city I would say this was better.Food: 4/5
High quality persian food, great prices and big portions. Plenty of free parking, very friendly staff and beautiful ambience. Highly recommended
