Standouts are the sandwiches, which I like better than most places. To guage the experience I would say it's better than Popeye's but not what I would consider the best fried chicken in the area, as there's a lot of competition within a 5 minute walk. Wings here are the flats with the wingtips attached, no sauce given but not needed. Fries are really well seasoned and thick cut so that goes really well.
First time trying. Ordered combo B which was the popcorn chicken, two pieces, fries and a drink for $21 all in It tasted okay. Is it better than Popeyes? Don't think so. It tastes like Taiwanese fried chicken but not really that flavorful. Fries were pretty good, kinda like Costco crispy fries. You have to wait about 10mins so i believe you're getting freshly cooked fried chicken. The popcorn chicken wasn't fresh but the 2 pieces were good in that sense. Would I get it again? Maybe. But you're not missing out on anything if you don't order from here.
Thought of giving this place a try and regretted it after the first bite. Flavour on par with kfc, but double the price and undercooked. Maybe it was a bad day, but either way, there are at least 1000 other fried chicken spots within the vicinity that you’re better off going too. To add, they do not check vaccine status for dine-in customers.
Disappointed we didn’t love this chicken the quality isn’t great, it’s chewy dark meat reminds me of bottom of the barrel pieces of chicken. Flavour is ok but reminds me of kfc. I’ve had better chicken sandwiches from popeyes and churches chicken to be honest and it was very expensive. For the price for 2 combos which came to $30 I’d expect white meat and great quality. Nice people though.
It’s better than popeye because the chicken is really fresh but I agree, there is a lot of competition in the 5 km radius. But overall, good fresh chicken sandwich and it’s halal!Recommended dishesSpicy Chicken Sandwich
Not sure why the are so many low reviews. Service was sort of slow, and the atmosphere was a bit dead, but the food was good. They use dark meat for the sandwiches, so they are a bit smaller in size but very juicy. Not the best sandwich ever, but still solid. It's also Asian style fried chicken, so don't expect it to taste like Popeyes
I had the chicken combo which had fries, chicken sandwich and a coke. I like the fries because they were small, thin and crispy. The spicy chicken sandwich was a regular sandwich the way we have every where. Good enough if you are really hungry and want to enjoy a burger.
Have ordered a few times regardless of the premium pricing compared to McDonald. This time the bbq chicken has little flavor, not sure if they forget to put salt but definitely something was missing from the recipe… The inconsistency of the flavor is unacceptable…
Very good fried chicken restaurant. Spicy chicken burger was high quality and chicken patties were juicy. Definitely several levels higher in quality than the factory distributed junk from McD and Wendys. Toronto independent restaurants always deliver better food than the chains.
Worst ever fried chicken that I have ever had in my life. Never recommend to anyone. You’ll start hating fried chicken after eating from here. Zero stars.
