It's ok. I wish the shopping carts were smaller. They only have those huge ones about the length of a bus. And the real ice cream they sell is pretty expensive. The rest is cool I guess.
This is a good place to buy groceries for a halfway decent price. It is comparable to No Frills, Extra Foods and Price Chopper if you have shopped one of those elsewhere. If I had a big family or lots of people to feed/entertain I would shop here a lot! Like the other stores I mentioned though, since they have better deals than other stores the on sale stuff can have a bare shelf if you wait until later in the week to get your sales/bargains. But I have only run into that once so far with watermelon about a week ago, but it was late in the week. They also have a nice organic shelves aisle, it is not as big as say a Superstore, which devotes an entire dept. to that category but I have found things I like and need, for instance chia seeds to help thicken my morning smoothies and unpasteurized honey which helps you if you get seasonal allergies and the honey is local to the area you live in. Only drawback is a shared one, mine and their’s. They have none or next to no employees who speak English that I have encountered so far, but I am finding that common for this place since moving here Shawinigan and I am halfway fluent in written, spoken and hearing French/French-Québécois but I have yet to find a place with French as a second language here so I can get fully fluent. I am retired so I can’t just order an expensive online program. So they get my best rating for somewhere to shop here so far. They also take the Moi or Metro et Moi card for loyalty points etc.
