Stayed here long-term a while back. Staff started out being nice, working with us on a weekly rate and everything. Then many months later, for no particular reason, one of the managers? started scolding me for things he had no issues with before and being what I can unfortunately only describe as b*tchy, nearly every time I saw him- even when he saw me at my job since I worked on that street at the time.nThe rooms weren't very well kept and there were easily fixable issues- there wasn't a smoke detector in the room at any point and the curtains started to fall off the wall a few months in. Decent sized fridge, though.nThere were also random unexplained charges in our account from this place every now and then. I have also heard of this happening to other people and even saw the bank statements. I'd try one of the other much nicer, more honest places down the road more towards Meijer.
Several weeks ago, I posted a review regarding staying here for one night March 14, 2024, and developed 36 bedbug bites the next evening after going on to my daughter's.. Dave, the general manager said he would refund my stay, but he has not and as I read other reviews, he tells people he will refund them, but he doesn’t. If you have a problem here, which I didn’t think I would, watch out because they do not want to give you a refund!
Update: I never received my refund for my room. When I went back to ask why they told me to take my review down... no I will not. People have the right to know if the hotel they are thinking about staying at has BED BUGS!! The people working here have no respect for the customers so I would recommend you find a different place to stay if possible.nThis would have been an ok hotel for the price but when I went to lay down for the evening I saw something in the corner of my eye. I got up turned a light on to find tons of bed bugs!!! Yuck! They told me I'd get a refund for my room and as of now I still don't have my money back.
5 starsnnMy stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Stevensville was simply fantastic, and it's all thanks to the owner's exceptional hospitality and the spacious rooms they offer!nnUpon arrival, the owner greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to accommodate our request. We needed a room early in the morning, and despite trying three different hotels in the area, only the owner of Super 8 was willing to help us out. It was such a relief to find someone so understanding and accommodating.nnSpeaking of the rooms, they were indeed spacious and comfortable. It's always nice to have plenty of space to move around, and the room provided just that. The amenities were well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff did a great job of keeping everything clean and tidy.nnOne thing that stood out during our stay was the value for money. Considering the top-notch service and the quality of the rooms, the rates were more than reasonable. It's refreshing to find a place that not only meets but exceeds expectations without breaking the bank.nnI cannot praise the owner and the staff enough for their efforts in making our stay enjoyable. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made us feel welcome and valued as guests.nnIn conclusion, Super 8 by Wyndham Stevensville is the place to stay if you're looking for excellent service, spacious rooms, and a friendly atmosphere. I would gladly return here on my next visit to the area, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay. Thank you once again to the owner for going the extra mile for us!
Service, cleanliness and amenities were non-existent.nnI opted to stay here as every hotel within a 15 mile radius of the beach was completely booked. After enjoying the beach the entire day we were exhausted to travel across state lines and opted for the closest available hotel.nnService: The attendant/owner continued with his phone call as I was checking in. Would not end the call to answer questions, and when I asked questions I was pretty much brushed off while he was holding a full blown conversation on the phone. OK...whatever, I can get past that, swipe my card and give me my key. What I could not get past was...nnCleanliness: I wasn't expecting much given the short notice and proximity to the beach, didn't expect fancy but did expect Cleanliness, and was met with a standard far less. Stains on every crevice of the room, carpet, walls, ceilings, and even worse yellow mattresses, and stained pillows, masked by clean sheets and pillow cases. Absolutely disgusting. Washroom and fridge full of old brown grout/caulk, and spider webs and spiders in every corner. My kids were disgusted and they're usually excited to sleep over at a hotel. Basically we used the shower to freshen up, sat, chilled and ate pizza and after 4 hours left in the middle of the night, we refused to sleep on those beds.nnThe owner states the rooms are no smoking but the room entire hallway we were in smelled of mothballs and smoke.
