Our stay at Super 8 in high level is always one of the best. The staff are always so friendly and inviting, it almost makes you feel like royalty. Every time we go for the breakfast, the staff help out so much. I am usually with my children, who are a handful and a half, and the staff will help make waffles or get whatever we need. The breakfast might not be the best, but the service makes it worthwhile.nnThe rooms are nice, but one issue we have had is finding hairs in the bed or tub. I give them the benefit of the doubt because I know getting every last hair out of the tub can sometimes be difficult and you might not see one, and the bed could just be the cleaners hair from static and everything while cleaning. Otherwise everything is usually good in the rooms.
Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights with my family. Kid friendly, and the breakfast was yummy & kept clean :nEnjoyed the pool! They conserve energy so if the water slide looks off just use the phone by the door to call front desk and request the water slide be turned on : swam both days I was there and it was fun : the kids enjoyed it ! & so did I. They also have a hot tub to relax in! The pool area is open until 10 pm also!!!nI couldn’t get the treadmill to work. But everything else was great, :nI was here NYE & new years and it was a great place to start the New years : everyone kept wishing me a happy new year and it made me smile! That being said the staff was friendly.nThey don’t have dairy free creamer, just regular cream! But you can ask housekeeping or front desk for coffee whitener which is the same kind from the rooms : Econo lodge carries delight which is dairy free creamer :nBut super 8 is next to Boston Pizza! Which is one of my fav places to eat in the city :nI like super 8 because you can go for a swim, call and order your pizza for pickup and then go back to your room to eat :nThey also have playpens/ cribs available upon request!! I would definitely come back and stay here again :
We booked a stay from Monday through Wednesday in early December. Due to incoming inclement weather, we booked for all three nights in advance. Late Tuesday night, we were recalled back to the city because of the storm. At that time, I spoke with hotel staff to request cancellation of the final night of our reservation.nnThe staff informed us that because we had booked for three nights, we would be charged for all three regardless. Neither the staff nor the manager, Patrick, demonstrated any flexibility or willingness to compromise, including refusing to cancel even one of the rooms for the final night.nnGiven the circumstances and the complete lack of customer service or consideration, I will not be using this hotel again for either personal or business travel
Higher rated hotels were booked, so I chose Super 8. The experience exceeded our expectations. Room and bathroom were nice and there was a large window with operable portion for fresh air. My family very much enjoyed the warm swimming pool and waterslide. Next morning the breakfast also exceeded expectations, the breakfast area was very clean and the cheerful young lady that was tending the area greeted us and bid farewell.
Upon arrival service was fantastic. However, when I checked out I was told that simply using the facecloths and getting dirt on them from a long day of work in the oilfield, I was not receiving my full deposit back. Service went for a 5/5 to a 0/5. Absolutely ridiculous.
