Great hotel for a short stay, room is quiet big and bed really comfy. Friendly staff also! Only negative point is that breakfast is empty... No eggs no bacon no muffins... Otherwise I recommend this hotel for sure.

Great place to stay, though I think the "budget" label that google gives is a misnomer. It worked out to almost $180 for myself, my husband, and my dog in mid August. However, this was a very nice place to stay. The place must be almost brand new, the beds are soft, warm, and cozy. The bathroom was exquisite. The breakfast is very generous and the front desk has free apples and cookies. The staff were great too. Loved it.

Room was fantastic, excellent location, friendly staff, breakfast was adequate. We just had bad luck and our weekend here was when the hotel was filled with youth travel hockey. Kids running and banging on walls yelling, parents drinking and partying in hallways till 3 am. Needless to say we are never having kids or staying at this hotel again.

First of all, rooms were great, soundproofing not so much, we could hear everything happening in the halls and in the rooms. As per one of the below comments, yes, there was a hockey tournament's with young kids, multiple hockey teams were present that weekend in Mont-Laurier for the festi-tournoi fenomax. So, yes, kids were running in the halls but not after 9PM. Yes, parents were in the hall but were told to go in a room, which they did and no they did not stay up until 3AM drinking and partying as what was mentioned previously. When you book a hotel during the hockey season maybe one the question that should be asked before booking is will there be a lot of kids staying if you don't like kids, of course, or if you are expecting to have a quiet stay. Aside from that comment, staff have been helpful and nice most of the time. Breakfast was a great bonus as we were rushing in mornings to go to the arena. Needless to say, I would go back at this hotel if needed but would suggest that next time a hockey tournament is in town, management should try to book all teams on the same floor(s) and leave one floor (top floor) to people who are not part of a hockey team and want to be quiet. Although, it is easier to say than done, this could avoid potential conflicts with people who don't have much tolerance with kids around them. Therefore, I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to have a great time in Mont-Laurier.
