Very convenient location. It is next to all conveniences and shopping amenities. The room was clean and the bedding was very clean. The furniture was a bit deplatidated. Good breakfast with choices like scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, waffle, fruits, bagels, English muffins etc. The air conditioning unit could use a bit of TLC. It was dirty with dust and some debris that will make a big difference. Overall it was a comfortable stay and economical as well. Good value for money.
Love this hotel despite what others said. Need to set appropriate expectations for a two-star hotel and the rates one pays.nnStayed here instead of Blue Mountain which was our eventual destination. Just an hour away from here but four times less expensive; savings which can be used for other expenses.nnWe had king bed. Comfortable. Bathroom clean. Shower as hot as it can be. Complimentary regular and decaf coffee. Next to and nearby major eateries.nnHot breakfast is nice but the standard continental fare, fruits, juice, cereal are okay too. It is a two-star place so if we take that into account and the rates, I think this super 8 is enjoyable and money wisely spent.
This is a really decent hotel, especially for the money. It has all kinds of restaurants and shopping around it, and it's just off HWY 400. The staff are attentive and friendly. The rooms are a good size, with all of the usual amenities. It also has a small pool and workout room. The breakfast nook serves the usual breakfast from 7-10am weekdays.
This is by far the best experience for a 2 star hotel. Reception is friendly efficient and helpful. Room is spacious with a nice seating area. Has all the amenities like microwave fridge and a separate are for making tea/coffee. Also has an iron for clothes. The shower is ok strong with hot water. Heater throughout the entire hotel is top notch. Nice warm and cozy. Hot breakfast with ample selection.nLocation is ideal. Close to many family restaurants and shopping.nI would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again if in area. Better choice than in blue mountain which is my intended destination. Save tons of money staying here.nThey also clean my room eventhough I did not request it. A bonus. Keep up the good work
Our vehicle broke down near Barrie so we had it towed to the Honda dealer which is right near the Super 8. Service was amazing in helping us out as we had three little kids. Free breakfast including waffles and the pool was warmer than most hotels. For the amount we paid we feel like great value as probably would have spent $75 on breakfast at a restaurant.
