Story

The Sunshine Diner is rich with history, having been originally named Sunshine Cafe four decades ago back in 1970. To this day the Sunshine Diner remains in the heart of Kitsilano in Vancouver, or where we like to call "The best place on earth" or "Home sweet home". Owned by the Pantsios family for over 18 years, we are proud to serve high quality ingredients which may only be accompanied alongside prompt, excellent service. We believe there is no such thing as too much coffee! Known for our outstanding hollandaise sauce, breakfast specials, large burger platters, and delightful sandwiches, there is something to be found for even the pickiest eater. Come in and let us add some Sunshine to your day!

Sunshine is my favorite brunch/breakfast spot! Visiting sunshine diner is like stepping back in time with their retro feel. The service is friendly, the food is delicious, always fresh hot and served fast! I LOVE the Sinatra eggs benny! It's my go to if you haven't been must visit!
Excelent one of the best places for breakfast in Vancouver. These type of places should get franchised. I would raise the heat up a little bit, but it s perfect, the food and service, and hygiene.
My favorite place in town for a brunch. I love the 50's vibe and musical decoration. I also love that the few times I've been there they were showing Lonney tunes on the TV. Aside from that, the food is great as the service is. During Covid-19 they are following all the measurements necessary to keep costumers safe.
Food really yummy!!! Great and cozy decor, good service, fair price and huge portion. I will be back to try other options definitely.
Love the eggs Benny here! Been back multiple times and haven't tried anything else. Nice staff. Good dining experience
I was not a fan of the Sunshine Burger, primarily due to the patty. As others indicated the Eggs Benny was perfectly cooked and enjoyed by those who ordered them. Staff were nice and extremely helpful but this was not the place for me.
Oh, my goodness! The seafood eggs benny! Almost too good for words! Simply scrumptious!
BEST OF THE BEST!! YOU HAVE TO GO I have traveled all over the world and this is by far the best I have ever had!!!
food here has always been consistently very good. Also staffs are wonderful. Thank you for staying open!
