Why are there no heaters for spectators? It is so cold! I guess it's good for the ice quality.
Typical small town, older arena facility. Ice in place Sept thru to end of March most yrs, then dry floor sports & activities take over. An older venue, no snack bar only vending machines. Change rooms are a bit beat up but usually quite clean. Staff friendly and helpful. A colder rink/ice surface than GACC in Gibsons but it serves its purpose quite well.
Love the spirit of this place. The retro viewing lounge is amazing and totally small town. Great public skate times and really helpful employees.
Great Arena heater above the stands is a little sketchy, Ice is awesome!
