Went for the first time to play some mini golf this evening and was not disappointed. Beautiful 20 hole mini golf course as well lots of open space for regular golf. Will absolutely be returning. Hoping to try out the glow in the dark mini golf soon!‍
Sunset is a decent golf course for what it is--a course for hackers/beginners like myself or people who just want to walk on and play a quick 9 holes. The bad: The fairways are not cut short enough and it's easy to lose a ball in the fairway. The greens are split between slow but acceptable and absolutely horrible. Also, they don't space out tee times so you're constantly waiting for groups in front and have people waiting on you behind. The good: However--this is not meant to be a posh golf experience! It's still a fun course to play with some decent variety and it's a pretty course. You can usually walk on, which is rare for a golf course. Prices are reasonable and I still have a good time playing there. It's a good place to go to work on your game and just have fun.
The new employee that they hired in the pro shop is incredible rude and disrespectful, she needs to learn how to treat customers with respect. Worst experience I have ever had with any employee in any pro shop and I’ve been golfing for 10+ years. The owners of sunset are usually very kind nice people who I get along with great. I was so upset to have shown up and been so poorly treated by the lady working in the pro shop. She lost not only one but 4 golfers that day, and possibly 4 golfers for life at sunset.
I give 4 stars because the course is fun and all with its challenging 2nd , 5th and 6th holes that give me a.good arenelinde and too challenge myself on my golf game. I noticed a few of the greens were in bad condition they were very dried out and cracking as if an earthquake happend but besides all that Sunset is a fun course whether your a beginner or a pro, just gotta maintain the greens and it will be good as new
Nice 9 hole course at a fair price. Well kept and staff are very nice. Has a good mix of short holes with a few holes to even bring out the drivers. Only issues were that the sand traps need some more work and the course needs to have a marshall working to space out groups playing. Very nice course overall though, would definitely recommend giving it a try.
Had a great morning of golf with the girls. The greens and fairways were in good condition.
Fun 20 hole mini golf course. Nowhere near as challenging as 402 Golf Land used to be as it lacks any real features to contend with. Good for kids as a 1st introduction to mini golf.
This is our 'go to' course on the annual father and son weekend. Water hazards abound. The pond at the back of the course has to be crossed twice so water balls are the order of the day. You are bound to lose some. The par five coming home is also a challenge. Enjoy and good luck.
Went minigolfing there! Had a great time and a very nice 20 hole mini golf course. The only issue is the toilet on site is a porta-potty.
Just here for the mini golf. Holes have all recently been recovered. Nice course. Variety and good difficulty. 20 holes. Apparently there's glow golf at night. I'll have to go back to check that out
