A rare low rating from me as they wouldn't let me walk around with my daughter despite my holding her hand and her walking very nicely. Maybe they've had bad experiences in the past, but they lost my custom which is a shame as I did have money to spend.

I was more into the art at the gallery then i thought but there did seem to be a weird fascination with mermaids eating themselves and sexualized seagulls. It was not an unpleasant experience and the staff was friendly. Ultimately we didn't end up finding anything that clicked for us but too often folk Art just means bad art.

I'm not exactly an unbiased reviewer because I occasionally play harp at the little cafe (The Frog Pond) operated by the same couple who own the gallery. However, having sat with literally hundreds of customers of the gallery and the cafe over the last ten years, I can unequivocally state that almost all people who visit have a good time and each person seems to enjoy the folk art in the gallery and the overall ambience of the Frog Pond as well. The drinks and treats in the cafe are wonderful and the place is impeccably clean. It's part of what makes Cheticamp such a wonderful place to live and to visit.

Staff was friendly and gallery was well laid out. Just really really not my style.

Love, love, love this place! The gallery is fun, plus one of the folk artists has his studio on the property! We also got a coffee at the adjoining cafe, just fabulous
