This was my second time visiting this salon. My first pedicure by Piper was excellent but the second one so disappointing. I booked my appointment on Thursday and went with my daughter-in-law on Saturday for a pedicure. The place was busy and no one was available to attend to my pedicure. My daughter-in-law is soaking her feet and I am waiting for twenty minutes before anyone came to do mine. Jenny shows up, apologizes for the wait and starts the pedicure. It was quick, no toe separator used and I didn’t want the razor on my heels so Jenny used the pumice brush and scrubbed so hard that I now have a cut on the back of my heel. I started last and finished first before my daughter-in-law. I gave a $10 tip but I shouldn’t of as it was an awful experience. I asked to have my eyebrows waxed and was told no too busy. Well if you would stick to your appointments and stop taking others in, it could be more organized. No worries, I am sure one client means nothing but I will NOT darken your door again. After visiting 15-20 different nail places when I'd moved to Calgary, I first tried this place over a year ago... And have been coming here ever since. Yes, they are busy, but for good reason. The ladies do lovely work, friendly, and all help each other out. I always see Helen, she is wonderful!

They were able to book two new sets for the same day. That's the only good thing though. Left hand shows my nails the DAY they were done and right hand are my nails 6 days later. The polish wasn't applied up to the cuticles at all. I had stained my nails brown with hair dye prior to getting my nails done and it's completely visible through the gel and two coats of polish. A third coat would have been nice or even a white or nude base instead of looking like my nails were dirty. The polish isn't opaque at all though, I can see right through the tips. My left thumb nail wasn't properly cured so it still has a sticky residue that prevents it from being as shiny and it feels different from all the other nails. Some nails are crooked and most angle upwards at the tips. I didn't like anything about how these turned out.

I've been going to this salon for years. They are extremely friendly, professional and talented. Kathy is the best! I show her a picture of what I want for my gel nails and she always makes it better! Highly recommend to everyone!Services: Pedicure

Wow! My first time coming here and all of the staff were lovely. I came in to get my face waxed and eyebrows tinted. My eyebrows look like they were professionally micro bladed and she gave them natural volume, so happy with how they look. We had a small problem with the waxing but after calling in and going to speak with them in person, they accommodated my concerns with urgency and rectified it. Thanks for the great experience and I look forward to coming back.

I left the nail salon with 2 bloody fingers, a big chunk of acrylic under my thumb nail, nail polish all over my hands, and 2 fingers she messed up on. I do not recommend coming to this nail salon if you want to get acrylics.Service: Dip powder

I have been going here for 4 years. Over the past year I have seen a serious decline in service. The staff are still friendly and sweet but the product is sub-standard. The last two times I have been in I have left unhappy. The first was a full set of gel nails. Even tho I said they were too long my manicurist continued, when I paid I also mentioned that they were too long, I was told I would get used to them. When I went back the next day I was charged to shorten my nails. This week with my fill and pedi, the pedi turned our awful. It looks like a 2-year old applied the polish. I was a loyal customer but am questioning that loyalty and thinking of moving on, what a shame.

I have a cast on one arm and can't clip my own nails. The technician was very kind and helped remove some dry skin from the bad hand and also made both of my hands look much nicer with freshly clipped nails and clear polish. The cost was very reasonable.
