Stopped in for lunch Today. Ordered a sandwich and my girlfriend got chicken fingers. Sandwich tasted almost like spoiled dairy products, chicken fingers were very very tiny and dry. I could smell rotten food coming from the kitchen every time I heard them open and close the fridge. Fries were freezer burnt and undercooked. Ketchup bottle on the table was covered in dried up ketchup. We both ate a bite of everything and had to leave it uneaten. I would avoid this place at all costs. Attached photo is somehow chicken fingers. FYI I am pretty sure the business is under new ownership and the positive reviews were all written before that change. Please don’t go here. I’m sorry to the owners but I truly do feel bad that some people accidentally eat here. The ministry should definitely do an inspection on this place as I am almost certain it would not pass.
Used to like picking up a chicken meal on a rainy day from this restaurant...until today. I called in my order usually a 30 minute wait otherwise, had difficulty getting my order straight with the person on the other end of the call. I arrived and discovered the potato wedges I wanted were substituted with...veggies. Turns out, new owners do not do wedgies. Get home and the overpriced meal almost $50 for 9 pieces consists of bland lumpy gravy, freezer burnt fries, very dry chicken, AND coleslaw that was BROWN!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
My Mom often tells me how nice the staff are to her. The chicken was the highlight of our Christmas dinner this year. Very flavorful, perfectly cooked meaty portions of quality chicken. We are impressed every time we order.
In for the first time in a few months. Discovered Scott sold business. Unfortunately new owners are not maintaining the same quality of food and cooking. We ordered our usual favorite, 9 pc chicken with fries well done, slaw, macaroni salad and gravy. Chicken was tasteless and very greasy/dry, definitely recooked! Fries were mushy and so greasy they were see through. Salads we're the cheapest most disgusting bottled garbage I have ever tasted. Gravy was a tub of gloppy glue. I am very angry that I just tossed $40 worth of food in the garbage!! Will never eat there again! Miss you Scott!!
Hot beef sandwich with mashed was barely warm. Soup and samosa were hot but samosas a bit too crisp. Quite slow.Food: 4/5
This family owned restaurant has a unique charm that you rarely see in the big city. The food is delicious and the staff personable. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
Found this little gem on the way to Peterborough. Friendly owner and lovely food. I had the karaage bowl and OMG! It was so good! I’ll definitely go back!
Came in after camping overnight in Flinton with some others for Astrophotography, really hungry. We decided to try a local place over a generic Tim's or something. The staff was great. The food tasted excellent. The portions were generous. And breakfast was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend going here for at least the breakfast if you're in the area!
Stopped in on our way through from Ottawa to GTA. The gentleman behind the counter was very kind and personable. The prices were good, and our food was excellent. Had the chicken Caesar wrap and the banquet burger for the adults, and the chicken finger kids meal. Everything was delicious. The whole menu looked super appealing and we'd be interested in sampling more if we had had more time. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Thank you!
Best breakfast place, food is extremely delicious and well priced. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. If you're in the area do yourself a favour and come dine in.
