My Sunglass lens popped out while I was at work today 9/11/2022. I called the Bramalea City Centre location where I purchased them and was told that any Sunglass Hut location will gladly take a look to fix the sunglasses. I came here and my shades were promptly taken care of. This is definitely a good spot for customer service. The fact that they are willing to service their glasses makes me feel comfortable to return and make more purchases with Sunglass Hut.
Bought a pair of Ray Bans from sunglasses hut, left lens turned out to be defective. Came back to exchange the pair a week after purchase and was given a "new pair" see pictures. The condition of the second pair was so terribly worn out that I had to go back and ask for a new pair. They promised me to order a brand new, sealed in a box pair and have it in a few days. I came back a week after, the brand new pair is not there. Again I'm being promised ill be taken care of. Later that day I receive a phone call from them saying that the only way for them to help me is for me to come back to the store 4th time, they will refund me my money and then I have to pay them again for the same pair so they can place an order on the brand new pair they had promised me a week ago. As I come back to the store I request the sales girl supervisor contact information to talk to him/her about the situation on which the sales girl starts giving me attitude that she doesnt have to provide me with any contact information and I can go on google and figure it out myself. Long story short, after 4 trips, gas money, time spent I was also given attitude. Would not recomend the experience to anyone.
Unbelievably bad service. Hopefully this store is not owned by an individual because the 3 sales people there yesterday at 4:30 has no interest in selling us sunglasses. The female and the male stood around talking to each other and on their phones, when I asked the female to suggest some frames, she said “it’s whatever he likes” my son I said “we were hoping you would have suggestions for his face”. “Everything will work, you just have to pick the colour lens” was her reply. She didn’t pull us one single pair of glasses, we must have pulled about 40 ourselves. We had to interrupt her and the male talking when we had narrowed it down to 6 pairs in order to get their opinions. This is a perfect example of why sales people need to be on Commission, they had ZERO desire to ensure we walked out of there with a pair of sunglasses. Awful, awful service. I don’t blame the young girl behind the. Ash because it was clear her job was junior, but the male and female ‘sales’ people need some customer service and sales lessons.
I was in the sunglass hut at Sherway today and was extremely satisfied with the excellent service. I bought a pair of Burberry returning a defective Ray Ban. No problem whatsoever. Adriana was the epitome of professionalism : friendly, cooperative, patient and helpful. Her associate Porshe was also very accommodating. This store gives you no hassles with returns or hassles. And the demeanor of Adriana is especially conducive to a return visit. Kudos also to the manager Dennis who was very upbeat and encouraging My Oakleys look like they're damaged and will bring them in as well. Good work team. friendly, patient, helpful, cooperative. Worst experience dealing with this company. I order a pair of Ray Bans sunglasses to the store. I was notified they arrived by email, but it took me a few weeks to get to the store to pick them up. I then decide, 2 weeks later I don’t think it’s a good fit, so I decide to return the sunglasses. The store salesperson says I’m outside the 30 day return window and says I’m not entitled to a full refund. I explain I only picked up the glasses 2 weeks ago - to which she replied that the 30 day window is from the day the glasses arrived in store! Buyer beware! This store offers horrible customer service and now I’m stuck with a gift card!
I had a very bad experience with the sunglass hut. I called and spoke to a very sweet girl that told me I could not complete my oops coverage claim in store because I purchased my glasses online, she gave me a 1800 number to call to mail my glasses in. I spent 3 hours on hold and spoke to another very helpful person who tried her best to complete my claim but after she spoke with her manager she was told oops coverages is ONLY done in store. I called back this location they took my number to investigate called another store. I spoke with Desiree who told me they have the exact same pair I want in store and that they absolutely can complete the claim and I can come any time she is there until 3 but ANYONE can complete the claim. I drove 40 minutes to this location as it was the only one with the glasses in store. When I got there Desiree wasn’t there and another employee did not know how to complete the exchange. She called her boss and they say Desiree misunderstood. I drove 40 minutes because someone misunderstood yes from no. Moral of the story - very unhelpful. I went to eaton centre location they told me they could complete the claim and when I got there guess what? They did.
The sales attendant working 10/16/21 was really friendly and helpful. I appreciated that - considering a trip to any Mall is not on my list of favourite things. Thank you for your great service
I bought a pair of Burberry sunglasses here. Got home to realize they had a crack on the inside of the lens which was protected by a metal frame right where the bolt goes through the lens, so likely a manufacturers defect. When I brought them back to ask about it the response was "too bad, you can't prove it", even though I got them only a couple weeks prior, they were kept exclusively in their case and there isn't a single scratch on them. Super disappointed, will definitely never shop here again.
Utterly Appalling. I am disgusted by the dishonesty I was subject to here and at two other locations. The staff are mostly disinterested... But all of them are trained to LIE to paying customers about the condition of merchandise! When I PAY for NEW, I expect NEW! When I could see oil and sweat and scratches on each pair of sunglasses, I asked on four occasions for a new pair, which is when the sales reps tried to hustle me and insist that it is new... Eventually being told that a box fresh pair were only available at other locations. Finally found a new pair on my third try, bought them because I needed them but even so they were not cheap for all my trouble. For example: You have a cold and you ask me for a kleenex. I retreive one, blow my nose and hand it to you, is it new? Ask Sunglass Hut what new is, they have a different perspective on this clearly... This is a multi-million dollar company, I know there is a recession but do not encourage employees to swindle the customers who frequent your stores. I hope others who shop here have a better experience than I had, I'm shocked that this kind of stuff goes on nowadays, I will not be using Sunglass Hut or any of their subsidiaries. Shame.
The worst customer service you can only imagine. My husband happened to be around Yorkdale last weekend and purchased two pairs of Prada sunglasses. I didn't like one of them on him and the second pair unfortunately,was defective one of the screws came out right away. We reside around Sherway so decided to return both pairs at this store, which is not against the policy. The sales girl was very unprofessional in dealing with the return, refused to take back both pairs staying her manager is saying "no return" via text to her she was absent from the store. My husband had to drive back to Yorkdale to make a return, which they accepted in a very professional way and had to apologize for the service received at Sherway. Please don't shop at this location. It seems like the only thing they care about is selling you whatever and then off you go and they don't like to deal with issues and treat the client well. I am planning on calling their headoffice tomorrow. They need to change the management at this location.
