I had a whatever this pastry is and two cups of coffee. The pastry was wonderful and it's blueberry filling and cream topping were both delicious.nnThe coffee was a light roast that had a great taste.nnI don't come to Summerland very often unfortunately or this would be one of my favorite places to go.
What a cracking wee gem. Pannini was delicious, cabbage rolls really good and the croissants are awesome. All baked goods are baked on-site!nTo drink I had a bumble bee , orange juice topped with a double espresso- surprisingly goodnBut the best was kept to last. The desserts here are simply out of this world.nChocolate orange cake, strawberry pavlova éclairs and a blueberry meringue pie... heavenly !!!nnOwners are a young Ukranian couple where hubby is a pastry chefnnOur new go to for Summerland
Amazing cafe. The Ukrainian pastry chef bakes the best desserts in the region, as well as borscht, pierogi, cabbage rolls - everything tastes great. The staff is friendly. The cafe is very cozy, in summer the open area is all in flowers. Every time we pass by, we stop by this cafe to relax and enjoy the taste after a long journey.
This place is amazing!!!!Cozy atmosphere, always greeted with a smile and a good selection of delicious food and pastries and desserts. Also if you need to order a cake for a special occasion this is the place to go , your guests will rave about your desserts for a long time because there is no cakes like European cakes
Delightful cafe that is a cut above what you might be expecting. There are a lot of surprises here, tucked away on a former residential lot, just off the main drag in Summerland.nnThe paninis were simple, but cleverly seasoned. Coffee drinks were rich, with no hint of bitterness. All that can be enjoyed in privacy in the charming outdoor grotto, weather permitting. Staff were very, very accommodating.nnPricing is slightly above coffee shop norms, particularly on the pastries, but the first nibble will make you appreciate the effort and the skills that go into these creations. The Profiterole was perfection. The Seven Layer Honey Cake was an unparalleled delight.nnYou really have to try this cafe.
