Huge selection and decent prices, really good dumplings too, however sometimes the quality is hit or miss. Went to buy fresh ginger, and every piece had mold on it. Other items looked immaculate, so it is definitely a good idea to inspect produce thoroughly before purchase. It can get very busy too, and parking can be challenging to find.

I grew up going to this grocery store as a child with my grandma and mom who would take me from Harmony Mansion. I have since moved out of the downtown area but always stop in every couple of months to grab my essentials. They have got a wide variety of Chinese and Asian snacks, sauces, noodles, and drinks. The parking lot has since improved and it's always a great shopping trip!

This is the only real store chinese food store in Winnipeg. Best products but many time expired. Must carefully check every item. I highly recommend but also with reservation. Hence the tree stars. Authentic Asian restaurants do all their shopping here. However selling food that isn’t dated and other items that are a year past due date. Bought a Thai curry paste that was a year since it’s best before. Yuck. I do return. I really enjoy the fresh stuffed buns. Usually Sunday is fresh and hot deliveries.

They have lots of selection and store is organized and clean. I compare store prices of the same product and they have the lowest price. I can find here hard to find asian spices. Some staffs cannot speak English but they are nice. Other staffs are helpful esp.the tall Chinese guy cashier who is always so nice to me.

It is good it is cheaper and cheerful

Just need to decorate the place and it'll look livelier. They have many selections. We bought our thinly sliced meats here for korean bbq.

Nice place. Their stuffs are expensive though. Not regular prices like other stores though. It's ok. Go grab your Chinese food,snacks and drinks here.

A favourite place to shop, i head in every 2-3 weekends for a big shop. Fresh tofu, bulk bean sprouts, heaps of different mushrooms and LOTS of vegan options in the aisles or in frozen. Good hours and prices. Thanks!

Sun Wah is my go to for quick and stress free Asian foods shopping. I always make sure to stop by the BBQ shop to grab some duck. The butcher is very accommodating and friendly! As far as the groceries go, I believe they’ll have everything besides very special regional items. I found Sichuan green and red peppercorns in a size that I liked, for about ~$13/kg in small convenient containers.

Huge selection of fresh food. Everything is restocked and clean. People are friendly and helpful.
