Best Japanese cuisine we ever had! The food is made on the spot and so fresh too. The chef is so accommodating to our needs. He even goes to the extent to let us know to call in and pick up later which is cheaper than ordering on-line. Trust is all he needs for us to pay only when picking up the orders. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who is game for Japanese cuisine anytime.
Excellent quality and taste. Couldn't believe how much fish in each piece. It's a struggle to find consistent quality in sushi and I would highly recommend this place - prices are great too. Be sure to order well in advance as the owner notes how short staffed he is as are so many small businesses, unfortunately. Support local!
Wow, amazing sushi take out joint. They also have tables in the restaurant if you’d like to dine in. The service and food was incredibly fresh and full of flavours. We ordered a miso soup, tuna tataki, salmon sashimi, hamachi sashimi, scallop sashimi, spicy salmon roll and salmon green onion hand rolls. The owner then gave us an additional soup and deep fried roll on the house! All the fish was fresh, and the rolls were so delicious. Their hand rolls were massive, the owner also gave us Japanese mayo to try with the salmon and it was a game changer. 10/10 highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick sushi fix!!
Huge portions, large rolls and average quality of fish. Better quality than an all you can eat sushi place, but not as refined as what you would get at a downtown location. The staff is 5/5 for friendliness, professionalism and kindness. Parking is ample and there is some seating in the resturant.
Ordered dinner for family of four and everything was delicious and the presentation was lovely. Great variety to choose from on the menu. Food was ready on time for pick up. Will definitely be back!
Food was ready on time for my scheduled pick-up. The rolls were not only delicious but overall visually appealing as you can tell the years of experience put into creating each different roll. The owners were very generous with their portion sizes as the restaurant name suggests! 5/5 – will definitely recommend and come back!
Husband and I have been looking for a yummy sushi place in Etobicoke that are owned by Koreans for a while after moving from North York where so many yummy sushi places are around. FINALLY found *the one*. Rice was done the way we want, more filling and less rice, the portions are great. Definitely will continue to eat from here whenever sushi cravings arise! Below photo is Combo 8 and we asked for Sumo Dynamite instead for a few extra $.
Was in the area visiting friends and they could not recommend this place enough so we ordered takeout for a late lunch from here! -[SPICY SALMON ROLL 8 pcs] $8 has a bit of a kick! loving the crunchy bits in it salmon pieces were delicious -[TUNA AND GREEN ONION ROLL 8 pcs] $8 Tuna piece is HUGE Loving the extra flavor that the green onion provides Look at those prices vs the size of each maki -[YAM TEMPURA ROLL w/SPICY SAUCE 8 pcs] $7 They were so kind and let us add spicy mayo to it free of charge! The deep frying od the yam was done perfectly Filling af and so delicious Be sure to order early as this place is often bombarded with takeout orders because of their extremely reasonable pricing! I will definitely be back to try as many rolls as possible because this place doesn't make my wallet cry at all haha
While the sushi might taste good, the owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. There were several times when I placed a pick up order in advance and at arrival had to wait for him to finish it, although there were no other customers at the restaurant. He also doesn't use any sanitary measures, like wearing gloves while touching the food. Just a second under the running water between handling cash or phone and going back to making sushi. Not coming ever back again even if it's going to be the only sushi shop in town.
Amazing! Excellent service! They brought out two dishes for us to try, on the house. Each choice was spectacular. An excellent flavor adventure in a low key atmosphere. The food we ordered was just as amazing! If you want excellent sushi, this place has it!
