Summerhill Spa

I booked an appointment with Summerhill weeks in advance for a 1-hour massage session for my fiance and myself, using a gift certificate $100 value that I had received. A day before the appointment, I received a phone call from a staff at Summerhill saying that they cannot accept the gift certificate. The reason for this was that the gift certificate was purchased at a time that the business was owned by someone else. I am very disappointed in this outcome and that they could not honour the gift certificate. Moreover, they did not even attempt to accommodate this mishap. Very disappointed in their customer service.

If I could give a 0 rating I would. I bought a gift package for two for a birthday gift for my brother and his girlfriend and they are not willing to honour it or refund my money due to a change in management after January 2016. When I called Summerhill, they informed me that the previous manager has stolen this money, along with all of the money from gift card sales, totaling in thousands of dollars of theft, and there is nothing they can do about this. I've informed them that if they do not the police about this matter, I will do it myself next week. This is absolutely ludicrous and I am now out almost $200.

My mother and I booked the 2 hour massage, facial and foot massage/pedi/collagen mask package. It was amazing. I have NEVER enjoyed a massage so much. My mother has had several hot stone massages, and she said it was easily the best she'd had. I can't wait to go back.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT VISIT HERE. I booked a massage for my sister at the Summer Hill Spa in an unfortunate mistake. My sister was so traumatized by her experience with the un-licensed "masseuse" that she had to leave early in distress. First let me start by saying that I've never had an unlicensed massage as you need specific forms for insurance. As I booked here by mistake I thought the massage would be with someone accredited to properly attend to the body. When my sister told her she had shoulder pain, and to please focus on that area, the "masseuse" focussed on her arms instead. When she asked her repeatedly to focus on her shoulders, She said, "yes I'll do that when you're on you're back." How she was planning to focus on the knots in her shoulders from that angle, I don't know. A registered masseuse would know better. Even more BIZARRE, when fitting the sheet over my sister and tucking it into her underwear, the "masseuse" pulled them halfway down her behind! Needing to be pulled up repeatedly only to be pulled down again exposing her unnecessarily and making her feel vulnerable! The "masseuse" then MOUNTED her to work on her lower back. Not one leg on the table for leverage... she mounted her. Forcing my sister to again ask her again to please focus on her shoulders. She eventually had to feign an illness and leave the appointment traumatized. When I called back to complain, management, who's had the business for the last 5 years, offered me a free 30 min massage with the same woman. This made zero sense. If I get food poisoning from a restaurant, do I really want to go back for a free meal?? When I asked management about her poor reviews online, she said I was insulting her. NEVER never never never again.

A farce of an establishment. After cancelling on me the morning of my appointment, they rescheduled for me for the next day but failed to tell me there was no RMT in on that day until I showed up. I then proceeded to get a terrible massage all while being charged for the price of an RMT massage. Never going back. Highly recommend anywhere but here.

***UPDATE TO THIS SHADY BUSINESS THEY ARE NO LONGER OPEN AS THEY DID NOT PAY THE RENT**** They also gave me a rash on my face. IF THEY EVER OPEN AGAIN DO NOT GO! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I went for my 4/5th facial here the other day, as up until now I had very pleasant experiences. However this time was not the same. I showed up and tried to communicate with my aesthetician however she spoke ZERO english to the point where she couldn't even say water or bathroom. But that was ok as I didn't really need her to speak to me. I go to get facials as I suffer from some mild acne and need extractions. After 1 hr of creams, a mask and a massage on my neck and head we were finish....ZERO EXTRACTIONS. I asked her but she couldn't understand me so I tried to demonstrate and all she could say was no need, I then asked the girl at the from who also barely spoke english who also said i do not need my skin is super smooth. I then paid the 100$ bill. Which was my mistake as I should have refuse, because just as i knew I had SEVERAL issues on my face that needed to be taken care of. I decided to send the manager an email with pics of my face and wanting my money back, I didn't hear back so I called the next day where the girl seemed confused and said she would call me back in 1hr, she didn't. So i called from a different phone as she was not answering. The same girl answered but played dumb so i had to explain my situation all over again. I asked to speak with the manager but according to her they do not have any. However she then said she would call her manager, I also said that I doubted that my aesthetician had a valid license. She then hung up on me and did not answer any of my phone calls. i got a friend to call from her phone, when they answered and she began to ask about facials she hung up. I went that night at 6pm as they close at on Mondays, well they were closed early. I am still trying to get my money back and urge everyone to NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AS THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. PLEASE! EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN AND LIKED IT LIKE ME THEY ARE NOT A GOOD BUSINESS WHO CARES FOR THEIR CLIENTS AND I DOUBT THE TRAINING OF THE STAFF.

I have been going to this Spa over the past 4 years to do Brazilian waxing. I would say that the place is very clean and soothing. Comfortable. Manager is nice and the staff listen to my needs and concerns. There have been times that I request different things and they provided it. The price is good when they have promotions. I recommend this place!

One of the worst waxing service ever seen. After few minutes, like 30% done, i have been asked to leave because the estetician was busy. I refused, they kept me there 2 hours. In which they complained and when i got home, i realized i was full of hairs everywhere, like they didnt do the job completely: to save on wax they did it only where "they" saw the hairs in a extremely cold and dark room. Arrived home, i could not even understand how bad such a job could have been done. So disappointed, such a waste of time and they also pretended cash and put themselves between me and the exit, as if i was running away?? which i was certainly not having been there 4-5 times already. Now, run away for real if you dont want to spend your money twice.

My husband and I just got back from the spa. We booked the 2 hr package with massage, facial and foot massage $200. It was awesome. We both left feeling wonderfully relaxed and fully pampered!

I just tried to book with this company and they would not honour a gift certificate saying it had expired....THIS IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL and as a business owner she should know that. She also was willing to take my service request at first and than later told me they were closed for renovations and could not accommodate me for 4 months. This is a shady establishment, dishonest and corrupt and should be avoided at all cost.
