This restaurant is arguably the best Indian restaurant in Sudbury. This is located at the ground floor of Quality inn and suites so expect the location to be busy. Despite of the fact that it was very busy, the service was excellent. The servers come and ask if everything is upto our expectations. The must try items are the tandoori prawns, chicken biryani and butter naan
Awesome good! Had Tandoori Shrimp, Lamb Marsala and Garlic Naan. Got a to-go container of their desserts!nnBig portions! It was recommended that I went and checked it out by my sister and I am glad I did!nnI had take out a few times and I ate inside the restaurant this past Sunday!nnI'll be back!
spicy and you get a lot for what you pay for!nnThis is my first time trying sukhdev, and I will be ordering again. I heard of sukhdev offering free Christmas dinners for individuals who may need a warm meal on Christmas.. which absolutely warmed my heart and made me very curious and wanting to try their food for myself.nnI ordered the mild butter chicken plate with garlic naan bread and basmati rice.. the garlic naan bread is phenomenal, super soft and full of flavour. I ordered the mild spice dish, but it is still very spicy for me my spice level is franks red hot sauce.. and only a few dabs lol but it is still very tasty.. my mouth is burning as I type but I can’t stop eating it which says a lot!nnI’ve gotten butter chicken dishes in Sudbury before, but truly I think sukhdev is the best quality and quantity for the price.nnplenty of food leftover for later as well, which I love! Thanks Sukhdev!
I knew this order was in trouble when the bag was sealed with staples. So here we go……nnButter Naan. Was hot and fresh but was dry and lacked butter. Was the best part of the meal.nnVeg Samosa. Should be called mini pre chewed Samosa. Taste was OK but all 3 of these would equal one normal one at a Brampton restaurant.nnChicken Vindaloo. More potatoes than chicken. The flavour of the sauce was pretty good but the chicken was nasty dry and chewy.nnRoyal Butter Chicken. Nothing Royal about this dish. Went right in the garbage. Had better butter chicken from the frozen food section at the grocery store.nnRice. How do you mess up plain rice. Well, they did. Undercooked.nnWith delivery charge and tip this order was over $70.nnNot sure how there are 3 locations. Maybe the food used to be good?
I recently visited this restaurant from Timmins and had a wonderful experience. The girl who served us was extremely polite, friendly, and professional. She explained the menu clearly, described the dishes in detail, and helped us choose the best options. Her service was quick, attentive, and very well organized. She made sure everything was perfect and kept checking on us with a warm smile.nnIt’s always nice to see such dedicated and kind staff. She truly made our dining experience even better. Highly recommended!
