Sugar Roll Japanese Cuisine

Amazing food, speedy lunch service, cute atmosphere. Best sushi pizza I've had and their bento box has a great variety of things in it.

Fast and friendly service at Sugar Roll! We had the Tonkotsu miso ramen, udon noodles and the sunshine roll accompanied with some hot Jasmine tea. The food came really fast, and was really tasty. The ramen was really good, but the broth was simpler than I expected. My only criticism is really is that it was quite cold in the restaurant, we kept are jackets on and noticed a few other patrons also had their coats on during their meals. The eletronic ordering system was not working at our table so they gave us hard menus, the menus were worn. Overall a good experience and satisfied with the food, but would opt for take out instead of dining in if you're looking for a nice atmosphere.

Good food, good price and good staff. I didn't have to ask for anything and the Edamames where steamed just right. I'd have to say that the sauce on the roll is a bit excessive. Overall good Experience.

Terrible service. They gave me soy sauce in a tiny bowl where the roll didn’t even fit – everything spilled and fell apart. When I asked for a proper dish, they brought me a thin plate. No utensils on the table, I had to ask and run myself. The food is crap, the roll itself is crap. We also ordered soup – it felt like it was made from a cheap instant noodle pack from Dollarama. The place is old, dirty, with worn-out and greasy menu folders. The menu makes no sense: you pick a roll and there’s no description of what’s inside. Very inconvenient. The whole café feels disgusting. I don’t recommend it to anyone. Canadians should respect themselves more than to waste time and money here.

Positively phenomenal flavour! We had the spider, sexy, and black dragon rolls; and every bite was a symphony of flavour. Highly recommend you try it out!
