Sugar Cube Donuts

Such a thoughtful small business. Not only is it vegan but they pay their employees a livable wage and the baking staff puts so much care into these donuts it’s crazy delicious. I couldn’t recommend a sugar box more or just stopping by the Milwaukee Market Place for a single donut just to see how sweet they actually are.

This is the vegan donut shop I have always dreamed of. I grabbed an Ube flavored one from On The Bus and didn’t eat it until a few days later, and I can still say this was the best donut experience I’ve had in my life. I have never been able to match the glazed old fashioned sour cream donut experience from my childhood until now, except this is better. More reasons to make the trip up from Chicago; really looking forward to the other flavors!

I was walking by the public market with my dog the other morning and found Sugar Cubes pop up. Okay, these donuts are freaking fantastic. The person running the stand was really pleasant and informative. Definitely check them out this summer, and I hope to see where they’re journey takes next as the idea is great and we’ll executed…

Delicious glazed donut. The chew on it was perfect and it had the right level of glaze so it didn't over power the donut.

Bought four, two of them had a bizarre acetone-like after taste and couldn't finish them because of it. Specifically the vanilla and chocolate.

So delicious! Wouldn't have know the donuts didn't contain dairy.
