The only reason I did not give this a place a five star is because food is a little slow coming to the table. Everything is prepared fresh and that is why it’s a little slow. But well worth the wait. Good size portions. Staff is super friendly and look after you well. We stayed at a motel down the road two minutes. Staff there recommended Sue Chef and we are super glad we went there.
Food was good. Nice big portions, even on the sides. Place is a little run down but clean. Good variety of food, they had a small kids menu. There is a option on menu for a some ethnic foods like samosas and curry. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Food was really really good - had appetizers in the late afternoon. Wings were full of flavour and deep fried dill pickles were home mead and very tasty. Server was attentive and had a great sense of humour. Soft serve ice cream is a great deal too - always a stop on our way home from swimming!
Friendly wait staff... good solid food. Portions too big... tasty though. Price is fair - good value. Decor is fine... If you want big city dining with chandeliers... don't eat in Nipigon. I will stop by again whenever I get the chance. I loved it@
Terrible, terrible, terrible service. The waitress was probably the rudest person Ive had the displeasure to deal with. Food was underwhelming to say the least. If there was a way to give less than one star I would. Only redeeming part of the entire awful experience was the milkshake. Definitely just keep driving to the next town to find somewhere to eat.
Friendliest service during our month long vacation. HUGE meals. Make sure you are hungry. Fab homemade soup. Great Canadian food plus if you want a treat ask for the Punjab menu. Prices very reasonable.
I was here couple days ago, forget to write a review, Soup was tepid, chicken and mashed potato was ok but the vegetables was to small and also tepid. The waitress didn’t even ask me how the meal was,so in that case all the things together it was not so well.
Of the food, 1 meal was pretty good, 2 were just ok, and the 4th was poor. Regarding the Service it was very sub-par. Halfway through our meal the server ended her day without saying anything, which wasn't surprising based on how well it was going up to that point, and another server had to be asked to take over the table. When we left the off-shift server was found standing on the front porch chatting with some people. I won't stop there again when passing through.
Wow what an experience This charming roadside Café has an extensive menu including Punjabi. The portion sizes are enormous and the food delicious. Try the gravy. But the real showstopper is Kayla, the saucy and delightful server Who will leave you giggling like a schoolgirl on your way out. Highly recommended on that road trip across Canada
The split pea and ham soup was excellent and the soft serve ice cream was just the summer treat we needed. Very nice and attentive waitress. Great outing!
