Great food and experience however I was disappointed with the taffy on snow experience. The guy was more interested in chatting than pouring the taffy and when he did it was the size of a quarter. We drove from Ottawa to have taffy on snow.
Loved it! The owner keeps it vintage and cozy. Wonderful! … and the ribs… oh my! I wasn’t expected such big and tasty plate for the price listed! A real surprise! THANK YOU!
Very beautiful place , Nice hosts and so warm but the the foods which they served as the dinner was small size for the costs which you paid. I’m suggesting to everyone.
Authentic traditional Quebecois meal, friendly staff, and got a free tour by the owner of the maple syrup production lodge and bakery. Definitely recommend trying, and come hungry as the portions are very generous!
Always enjoyable experience, even off season, good walk-in menu and if you reserve you can have the full "cabanne a sucre" foodie experience.
Very helpful host. Took his time and made us feel comfortable. We will visit again in the on season.
