After using the Blackfalds subway many times at the drive through. My most recent visit stood out, due to the sandwich artist taking time to work with me while I ordered from the screen like a disorganized mess. Have yet to enjoy the meal fingers crossed it’s just as good as the ordering experience. I spoke with the manager as well letting him know I was impressed with his staff and upgraded speakers and head sets.
I was in the store this morning and was served by Debbie. I received quality service from her and wanted to give a shout out. My experience today made me realize I hadn't received great customer service in quite awhile. Thanks Debbie!
She was awesome the younger lady there in drive thru. Waited patiently for me to download the app and sign in, very friendly, and subs and sandwich were greeeeeeat. Love going to this subway!!
Service was amazing this afternoon in Blackfalds from Josie! It was ridiculously hot in there and I am sad the workers are having to work in the extreme heat, especially around the ovens. My cousin sells A/C through his company Tech Heating & Air Conditioning in Sylvan Lake and someone needs to call him or another company ASAP. Josie normally works in Ponoka and they are lucky to have her! She is fast, friendly, efficient & should be training others! Thanks Josie for the great service despite the heat! 5 stars for Josie...had to drop at least 1 star due to working conditions and so hot for customers waiting as well.
I order extra cheese, get next to none, thought I got a veggie sub cause the meat was so scarce, my friends sub was more of a soup with onions n bits of meat due to overkill on sauce and our subs were rolled tighter then a joint from the pot shop up the street. Seriously subway what is up.
HOW MUCH DOES A FAN COST? love this subway! the employees here are amazing. they are always in such high spirits; despite their deplorable working conditions. Was almost knocked over when I opened the door to enter this business today. It was astounding how hot and muggy it was in there. All the glass, lack of air flow, and the heat from the sandwich presses. I felt so bad for the employees, truly cruel they are expected to work under those conditions. There's no windows they can even open for a bit of breeze. I challenge who ever manages this store to work the line with their crew. I think I saw an oscillating fan at the dollar store for $5. I tip the employees extremely well when I go in, to make up for the fact you can't pay them a living wage. You could at the very least spend $20 on some fans for them. They are the only reason I come back here.
The place is very clean including bathrooms. Food as always great and and the staff especially the young lady serving us outstandingFood: 5/5
Great service. But In this 30 degree weather it's unacceptable that it is warmer in the building than outside! The two young guys working looked like they were going to faint! Shame on management for making people work in such horrible conditions...get the A.C fixed. This is unacceptable. The two men working however were amazing!
There is a chemical flavor on some of their vegetables, it's expensive for a sandwich. Other then that the staff are wonderful, the store is fairly clean.
I just wanted to give credit where it was due to our sandwich artist and her amazing customer service skills and attention to detail in preparing mine and my sister's supper. Our sandwich artists name was Debbie. She was 1 of 2 people on shift and was tasked with serving us our dinner. To start off our experience, we were welcomed with a warm smile, eye contact and a welcoming vibe from Debbie. She helped me decide what to order from what I told her I was craving, she was quick helpful and very informative. Even tho you don't offer a whole wheat wrap, I was fine with it as She was understanding that that was my preference and apologetic that was not something she could offer at this time. She was open to helping me to start over but she had sold me on the wrap before hand and I was excited to see it through regardless of whole wheat wrap or white. Secondly, the wonderful Debbie showed us a new sauce the restaurant is promoting, the goddess Sause. She kindly gave up a taster after my sister and I asked and we were blown away by how amazing it was. Thirdly, Debbie showed awesome skills in wrapping our wraps. I ended up getting the chicken ceaser wrap with ALL the veggies and my sister got a veggie wrap, again all the veggies. We both got a bunch of sauces, including the new goddess sauce. Which we both really hope you guys keep!! Debbie was effortlessly able to wrap them up nice and tight and she even obliged us when we asked them to be cut in half. She was very nice and we had a few laughs as we went through to keeping experience with her. I find the world to be very split these days and good interactions are sometimes hard to find. Good customer service is even harder to find. And we were delightfully tickled to be served by Debbie. So much so I felt compelled to write this review. In my personal life I am having some troubles and I just wanted to say Thank you to Debbie for an amazing experience and I sure hope Subway shows you the appreciation they should because they have one heck of a worker at the Blackfalds Subway location in Alberta Canada!! Thanks again Debbie!! I hope everyone does it, the Debbie way!!!
