So, having experienced what most of the negative reviews regarding this particular location are, I decided to call and ask why. My food today tasted ok however, the toppings were so limited I had to question whether or not half of then were even on the sandwich. When I inspected it, I realized they had put about 10 leafs of spinach when the request was for extra spinach. Same with cucumbers, and black olives. The service is sub par at best, and they are rude when you as for more. When asked over the phone why this keeps happening, and why all the Google reviews show the same issue, I was told it's the fault of the old owners giving too much, and that subway is happy with the new servings being given. #subway corporate should look into this, not a good look for the chain.
Rewriting this review to be more fair to this Subway location. Seems the new ownership has had an adjustment period of sorts, but they're doing alright now. The staff I've dealt with lately has been good. Decent improvement all around.
Ordered 3 times via the app. Order was right but the ingredients were barely there. especially the meat. Ordered the roasted chicken couldn’t even tell there was chicken on it. The subs weight felt like it was just bread. Cant go back thought it was one time event but last 3 times
New Owners clearly are trying to save money by giving you half of what you pay for. Purchased a salad today and the container is half full. Compared to the old owners it is disappointing will never eat here again.
Great service by Ashley. Big smile on her face the whole time she was preparing my sub. This is the second time I have been to this location and would have to say hands down the freshest ingredients and soft buns. I would say 10/10 for overall experience. Keepup the good work.
New owners got rid of all the staff that was there...kept one person long enough for their new people to be all trained up then just didn't bother scheduling them anymore ...when they inquired about hours they were told oh we don't need you anymore. Will never give that place our business and would never recommend them to anyone. Hanmer and ValCaron subway will never see our business again!
really good quality, clean, fresh and friendly staff. I feel like this establishment needs some management or older staff there during the day, most of the staff are young, however for their age it's pretty good.
a worker was glaring at me while i was getting my sub. she was a bigger lady, in her 30s, i think her name was tanya or tina if i can remember correctly. she made me feel unwanted and uncomfortable. ill be going to a different subway location next time, as it made me feel unwelcomed, and frankly ruined my day. tanya, you need to be retrained or dumped!
