I appreciate that there was food in Macklin as I'm on a long roadtrip. I stopped at the subway to order a meatball sub with extra cheese, salt, pepper, that's it. Very simple sub. They put the meatballs in the oven a couple of times, so I figured it would be hot. They dumped an insane amount of sauce on the sub, which covered pretty much the entire bun, making it so I couldn't hold my sandwich without getting my hands coated in sauce. I decided not to say anything, I took the sub out to my truck to eat it. What a mess... Meatballs were cold, I took two bites and tossed the rest out as there was a lineup and the staff were flustered so I didn't want to add to that. I didn't know you could make a terrible super simple meatball sub, but I guess you can.
Clean establishment. Good service, but a little slow, and their coffee was cold.Food: 3/5

Great food as always. They are super heavy on the sauces so just be sure to ask for 1 squirt or your sandwich is gonna be dripping in just sauce haha. Staff was friendly and the resturant was clean! = Bathrooms were good as well!
I stopped in the morning for a foot long and some cookies. The sandwich was good but the cookies were all quite hard. I came back for a late lunch and got a salad which was very good as always. When I mentioned the cookies, I was simply told, "I didn't make them." No apologies or offer to replace them.
Very friendly staff who always make you feel welcome! Have yet to have a bad experience here.
They were out of pizza sauce but the fine young lady running the submarine sandwich franchise mixed and matched the sauces to make a perfect pizza sub!!
Busy at lunch time on a Sunday, probably because there isn't much else in the area for food. Staff was friendly despite being run off their feet. I've been to a lot of Subways in a lot of cities, provinces and countries. I always prefer small town locations like this one for some reason.
Great customer service very friendly and polite. Went through for work. Great place for a bite to eat.
