We ordered 3 different 6 inch subs from Forest Lake through DoorDash tonight. Normally, we order from the Richlands store, but with DoorDash I went with the nearest store they suggested. The order arrived in a timely manner. No problem with DoorDash or delivery, but the order was not complete and the subs were topsy-turvy. Out of the three six inch subs, we received two. Only one of those subs was correct. DoorDash asks if you want the store to call you if the store has problems filling the order. I know I asked for that to happen with the first item on the order which was my child's. We received no call. So, once delivered I called them and a sandwich artist answered. They told me that the order I was talking about only had two 6 inch subs on it and they admitted to being the artist who put the order together. I said, no that's not correct. I'm looking at my invoice and there's three subs in total. I listed the subs I'd ordered. The sandwich artist suddenly apologised and said they were really busy tonight. I asked for the missing sub to be replaced which appeared to be my child's request with chicken. They were okay to do that. My husband drove down to get it and came back with some complimentary cookies for the inconvenience. We then sat down to eat our subs together. That's when I realised my sub the smashed falafel was missing all of the salad items. It only had tomato instead of the array of salad items, which is the only salad item my child likes and had ordered with their sub. It also had two sauces which my child likes and had also ordered with their sub. To be honest, I'm not a fan of Smokey BBQ. So, it seems that during the making of our subs, the subway artists merged two six inch sub orders into one. The cookies were nice. Look, its not unusual for delivery orders to get mixed up and be below expectations, especially in Forest Lake. But stores should have a system where they have a different person to the person that makes the sub, quality check the food against the order before it is handed over to the delivery driver. Three stars for the cookies and the effort to correct the error. The subs were disappointing and also not on the bread we'd asked for either.
Honestly, I dunno why there are so much bad reviews. I bought a Pizza Melt Footlong, and it tasted great. The woman who served me was very polite and toasted my sub to perfection! Would eat here again!Food: 5/5
I ordered with ubereats and wow,picture will say everything.the bread is like a rock and you can't even touch it.i wonder ing that if they blind or think people are stupid to provide such as this quality.i contact them and they said Ok bring it back,no we are not going to bring it back as you guys need to make another one and send it to us.respect customers.SHAME
Service is not the best. They really need to up their service time *serving the customers in store and not just online orders*, customer service needs to be alot better and store presentation.
Food was ok, pretty standard for subway. I enjoyed my meal but service was subpar. I got the impression the staff didn't want to be there, one staff member was preparing a delivery order and a younger staff member thought it was more important to do other general tasks then come serve the customer. I had to keep repeating my selections as they didn't listen when I told them. Probably wouldn't go back.
I was having a good day then I went to subway to have a sub, however the making of the sub took quite long but that did not make me unhappy. I got home and starting eating the sub and it just made me angry
Went to get a meat ball sub, the server clearly didn’t put all the meatballs on, when asked she incorrectly counted the amount 8 assuring me it was correct. Got home and checked and it was indeed incorrect.
Young girl did not know what ingredients goes into my order, I had to tell her. Her attitude was negative while making my sandwich, gloves looked unchanged and she decides to touch receipt paper in the middle of making my sandwich which is transferring germs yuk won't be coming here again. I have found many subways to be the same, I think proper training and maybe a senior staff member on to oversee the hygiene and the running of the place would probably go along way.
Bread wasn't cooked properly and was wet on the bottom. Absolute waste of money. It was inedible.
If I feel like Subway, I drive past this one and go to the Richlands store. The food is ok....standard Subway fare, but the customer service is what I have found lacking. Everyone can have a bad day, so I don't like to write a negative review until I have had several negative experiences. Well I have...and I understand that they get busy and at times you are going to have to wait, but most recently, I walked in and another customer and his family was being served. One staff member was making his order, another was out the back....preparing food? cleaning? who knows....then a third staff member was doing something at the cash register. She watched me walk in, and wait at the counter, but didn't acknowledge me, she just continued to fiddle with whatever it was she was doing. After a full 10 minutes, the girl finished serving the other customer and came to serve me, when I placed an order she told me they had run out of bread and I could have a salad. That happens....although I feel like they have two jobs, bake bread and make sandwiches - how do you run out of bread? but if ANYONE told me that when I walked in I could have made a decision without wasting time ....but the fact that I stood there for literally 10 minutes before anybody said anything annoyed me. As such, I wouldn't go to this store if it was the only Subway in the area...thankfully, I don't have to.
