I went with a friend who also adores BBQ we were both delighted! Brisket, ribs, bacon, Mac & Cheese and corn bread. All fantastic. Service friendly and engaged. Will be back! Ate too fast to get most pics but ordered a 3rd corn bread for breakfast.
Stopped in for lunch while on a road trip. We were pleasantly surprised with delicious the chicken sandwich, and tender brisket on a gluten free bun even! Bought a bottle of hot sauce to go too.
I hired Stuttering John's to cater my wedding and they did NOT disappoint. The food was amazing and their customer service was spot on. Georgia and John are willing to work with you to customize the perfect menu for your event. Our guests are still talking about the food 2 months after our wedding! I highly recommend Stuttering John's for your next catered event!
I ordered the Christmas Dinner Meal for my family Christmas dinner. All the food was absolutely delicious, taste and flavours far beyond anything I could have created. Absolutely everything for a full holiday dinner was included: Huge Turkey, potatoes, veggies, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls and dessert. Everything heated quickly, and didn’t taste reheated at all! Meat was tender and juicy! All the best with none of the hassle. Easily feed 4-6 adults with leftovers. Will definitely order again next year.
Stopped in before Christmas to get stocking stuffers. Johnathon recommended a number of new rubs and a couple of old favorites. Big hit with our sons. Also picked up a vacuum sealed pack of sliced brisket, which we heated as per instructions and made brisket on a bun w/coleslaw and bbq sauce. So good! Highly recommend visiting Stuttering John's for all things BBQ.
Did the smoker course this weekend. Like most middle aged guys I think I already know everything I was pleasantly surprised with this experience. I knew I’d love to eat bbq so I wasn’t worried but the technical tips and recipes were outstanding. What a cool experience and I can’t recommend it enough!
My partner and I recently moved to the area and found Stuttering John's online. My partner and I are always a bit skeptical to try new places but this place had excellent reviews so we were willing to give it a shot for lunch. From the get go, the owners Georgia and John were extremely friendly and sweet. We were welcomed and they offered recommendations. We ended up ordering the bacon, vacuum-sealed pulled chicken and their beef brisket. Everything tasted so delicious and better than any place we've ever tried. The brisket is cooked so well, with the sauce it just melts in your mouth. It always feels good supporting a place where the owners really care about their customers, and of course, where the food is amazing! HIGHLY recommend!!
They Accept Cash/ debit & Credit I just had lunch at this little Gem and let me tell you the Beef brisket was Perfect, Appearance, Aroma, Tenderness/Texture, Taste, and Overall Impression, When someone asked what qualifies as Excellent, "You will find out what is excellent when you taste this brisket. I also tried the Mac and cheese as a dairy free person I sacrificed myself and can allege it was worth every bite. I will definitely be back again. My other dining party had 1 bite of mine & was satisfied rated it at a 9, their plate was pulled pork and coleslaw the pulled pork rate a 5/6, coleslaw was ok. Some feedback The bun was a bit too firm Parking is selective Their Sandwich Sign on the road is a bit small. Maybe have smaller portions for kids.

WOW….Start the car or Run, don’t walk!!! Outrageously good, addictive, premium, quality, unique and the best service ever!!! I just tried the Candy Apple Fritter Pulled Pork Sandwich at the Bowmanville Applefest 2022 and had to drive back to get another one!! John snd Team are truly one of a kind and are becoming Legendary!!!
