I hang out at the SUB pretty often. What I really like is the University Bookstore — they’ve got a great selection of hoodies and gear, and it’s always easy to pop in and find something comfy. I’m also a fan of the Daily Grind coffee—nothing fancy, just solid, fresh brews and a decent snack if you’re hungry .nnIt’s also cool that they’ve got quiet spaces, the Horowitz Theatre upstairs, and the student advocates/info desks if you need help. Plenty of places to sit whether you’re studying or just chilling. Overall, SUB’s a solid spot on campus — functional, friendly, and packed with useful stuff.
T&T market is an anchor store. There are some good Asian restaurants and many tiny Asian stores. The food court has some good Asian food vendors. Clean bathroom and plenty of parking. Right close to LRT station and very easy access to HYW 1.
Great study spot. Quiet in some spaces, like downstairs. Louder near the food court. As well as the food court, there is a convenience store and the bookstore, which sells U of A merchandise.
The building is beautiful; lots of natural light, pretty sure one entire wall is just windows, open 24 hrs for students, ample seating, daily programs, and info about various functions and initiatives.nThe services - dean of students, research advising, career advising, wellness centre, clinical and counselling, and the medical clinic, to name a few, - and the people employed for serving said services, are exceedingly more beautiful and can provide everything except the ability to supplement insufficient will, discipline, dedication required to redefine one's life, prospects, academic integrity.nReally an impressive array of exceptional professional practitioners, supports, and advisors.
Great place, several busniness to accommodate students and staff plus the food court lots of sitting. Love the layout and the atmosphere definately the fine place to study, relax, eat or hangout.
