There is only two pool halls in London Ontario and each have different benefits. Hustlers charges $9 per hour, while Strokers charges $7 per hour. The catch is that strokers charges $7 per person, while hustlers charges $9 flat rate. So the benefits depend on if you are alone or not. Strokers definitely has nicer tables and three different kinds, while hustlers just has standard tournament tables. Hustlers also offers a $5 per hour table fee, if you get a league membership for $15/week, which includes a variety of fun league activities. Hustlers has more of that league stuff, and is a little more community friendly. I like both, and I did notice some bad service reviews regarding Strokers, but that was definitely NOT my experience. Strokers does seem to have more serious players though since they offer Snooker. The service was fine at both. Nothing to complain about. Both are open until 1am and both serve alcohol. This review could have been posted on either establishment, but wanted to clean up the bad review on Strokers. I like both for different reasons.
Really nice place and tables. I love the retro atmosphere. Ignore all the baseless racism accusations in some of these reviews; they are all utter nonsense, as when I was there, there were lots of different ethnic groups. It’s about how you conduct yourself, not about your race. And falsely and baselessly accusing others of racism is not cool.
Been going to Stroker's for years and it's the best pool hall in London. Excellent staff, food and tables. They treat you like you're part of the family whether or not it's your first time at the hall.
The way they treat customers is bad, I brought a coffee from Tim Hortons and they refused to let me drink it in the place, I said it's okay and she said I will put it under the cashier, and when I finished and paid the bill and asked for my coffee she said to me I threw it in the trash without telling me and spoke to me in an inappropriate manner.
Amazing place to go, the staff is beyond friendly.nnTo the guy who wrote that the staff are racist. I am a visible minority and they've treated me like every other patron with kindness, and respect. I think your disappointment and not being able to get a table is clouding your experience of the place. Being as popular as they are mean that they will be busy.... not quite sure how you expect them to accommodate you whenever you so wish.
