Story

Strathspey Performing Arts Centre is home to passion for arts, culture and tradition and nestled in the rolling hills of Mabou, along the Ceilidh Trail in beautiful Inverness County, Cape Breton.

Strathspey hosts performances ranging from local to international, all in a 500 seat professional theatre.

This beautiful performance centre is located in the Allan J. MacEachen International Academic & Cultural Centre along with Dalbrae Academy and Eastern Counties Regional Library.

Enjoyed a christmas concert here which was fab.  However thr intermission atmosphere lagged.

This is a large cultural and performance centre within a school setting. There are often great music and cultural events. This is a"go to "place that is the main large venue in the Mabou area. There are frequent public events during the tourist season and during the Celtic Colours International Festival.

Wonderful venue to see musical productions, and there have been some great ones including The Last Waltz and Johnny Cash Tribute. There is not a bad seat in the house.  The local talent in this region is outstanding and the community is very supportive.
