I have used the services at this clinic for over 25 years. I love my extra large dogs and have had five dogs that have received exceptional care. Dr. Allison and the whole team are very professional, caring, compassionate, and understanding. They face traumas and deliver the worst news to people And other times they get to give us the best news about our animals. I know this team works long and exhausting days, but their commitment to their profession is always very apparent. I do live in London and make the drive to this clinic as it has always given me, comfort to knowing my dogs are priority to them. This team is amazing.
We recently visited Strathroy Animal Clinic based on amazing recommendations from some friends. As first-time puppy owners, we were a bit nervous after a not-so-great experience at a different vet in London. However, after our appointment at Strathroy, I am beyond happy! Everyone there was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and provided us with all the resources and explanations we needed for our little Bronco. I’m absolutely thrilled with the care we received, and even Bronco seems happy too!
We have been bringing our dog, Charlie to Strathroy Animal Clinic ever since we got him 12 years ago. On every visit, he received the very best care, and we never were made to feel that we were being “upsold” on testing, treatments, etc - it always felt that Charlie was getting the same treatment that they would provide for their own pet. We also brought our cat, Toby there on a number of occasions and had the same experience. Sadly, in the past few months we have had to put both pets down, and while it was clearly a very difficult time for us, again, the care and compassion we received was second to none. Thank you to all of the staff - from the receptionists to the vet techs to the vets - for 12 years of top-notch veterinary care, and thank you for showing such empathy and care during the hardest moments of pet ownership.
I was very pleased with the fact that I was not pressured into vaccinating Oliver. It is a personal choice I made for Oliver’s health and safety after doing the research. Everyone who came into contact with Oliver was very positive, loving and interactive with him. He was very happy throughout his visit…and that really says it all. I walked out with an overall feeling of satisfaction
We found Strathroy Animal Clinic to be very accommodating from booking an appt very quickly. We were also greeted with smiling faces upon our arrival. It was the first time we met Dr. Doug and he put all 3 of us at ease immediately. We would certainly recommend this clinic.
