Never opened the station before the bus arrived trains were replaced with bus's for maintenance apparently waiting in the freezing cold for the bus to come 30 minutes late. Also no indication of where the bus would be stopping. Multiple calls to the via number and minimal help. Would not recommend.
Be aware that it won't open until 30 minutes before your departure. Although the staff opened it earlier. There is a covered space where you can sit between the station and the street, but it is not heated and you might get cold. There is no staff to help you really. The station itself is very cute and you can get access to the train from outside, without actually getting inside the station.
during the xmas holidays they have zero extended hours no hours posted anywhere just something that says one hour before the train and a half hour after the station is open but not when the trains are so not overly useful I'm surprised the station is as big as it is it seems a giant waste of time and space to keep it when they could just put a digital kiosk there for tickets open ALL THE TIME and probably do just as well not impressed , i don't get to see my kids this year because you cant stay open for more than 3 hours a day ... pitiful
Attractive railway station. Just too bad there is no station attendant and not more train service, especially when the Stratford Festival is operating
Trains run non stop and i live close by. The smell of the diesel fumes and the low end rumble nearly drives me insane. Been going on for years now. Some days im about to snap.... Legally they are not allowed to idle within residential neighbourhoods but they do anyway. They idle all winter long without ever shuttin them down. Even in the summer it is endless noise. Filed so many complaints but they all seem to land on deaf ears.!!
