Our dental office provides complete dental services for people of all ages, and is especially interested in creating a positive dental experience for children who are visiting the dentist for the first time.

Dr. Tasha Strait bought this dental office from Dr. Robert Miller in 1996. For several years it operated under Gnewuch and Miller Family Dentistry which was named for Dr. Strait's maiden name and prior owner. In 1998 Dr. Strait married Dr. Cale Strait and changed the office name to Strait Smiles Family Dentistry. In 2002 a long-time goal was realized when Dr. Baune, Dr. Strait's sister, joined Strait Smiles, making Strait Smiles truly a family practice. With an expanding practice, Dr. Cervenka joined Strait Smiles in 2005. The Strait Smiles Team Members consist of our hygienists, dental assistants, and front desk staff. From the moment a patient walks into the door of Strait Smiles Family Dentistry, the Team Members work together to help make the patient’s dental experience a positive and comfortable one. All Team members reside in Belle Plaine or in the rural area of Belle Plaine, so patients will not only see them at Strait Smiles but also interacting within the local community.
