2022 July 3.5 A nice looking click tower. Erected by the Village of Stouffville in permanent commemoration of the Centennial of Confederation in Canada in 1967. Construction was made possible through the co - operation of the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada . A plaque starting it is in memory of William Perry and Esther Elizabeth Graham and the clock within the tower was erected in 1931 A.D. A small water feature and some benches to rest. Not much to see otherwise. Good resting area with some shade.
A true Iconic Architectural monument for Stouffville. This tower was started in the late 1920's . It was originally part of the old fire hall. Today the clock tower still rings . I heard it halfway down main street. A small little parkette is with it.
Beautiful flowers in a peaceful garden during the weekend. You can pass through the base of the structure. The clock rings from time to time.
