Beautiful super easy hike! Not that steep. Good for 3-4 year old kid too. Has washroom right beside the parking and plenty of view point! Lovely hike will come over and over…
Amazing view, great hike for beginners. About 1h drive from Victoria.
A great hike and great views. Always fun for a hike!
Very beautiful look out points. We started on the easy path and took the hard path back. You can turn back around if you want to do just the easy. Might recommend starting on the hard side next time : Restrooms: One outhouse at the beginning. Bigger permanent and wheel chair friendly. Dog-friendliness: On leash. Some people of course didn't follow the rules and let their dog kevin chase the wildlife in the sensitive habitat area.
Beautiful hike! Viewpoint after viewpoint. Was well worth the hike, which wasn't even long or difficult in the first place.
I love hiking here. So many viewpoints and they are gorgeous. Not too strenuous, I come with my 5 year old daughter and she also loves it.
Great for a quickish hike that’s not too difficult. Beautiful views, lots of arbutus trees on the path. Some up and down parts but reasonable. Great for families and dogs.
Excellent hike! Did this with some friends and a 2.5yr old. Beautiful weather and great views. If you're taking kids, make sure they can hike/walk ~3-4km or have a hiker pack for them.
A beautiful park and loop trail no matter the weather. It’s a very accessible trail and even in the wet weather, it didn’t pose too many issues in terms of footing. I was able to run most of the trail. It’s a great distance and the terrain change and view changes make it interesting for such a relatively short distance. Panoramic views mine were fogged out at the three lookouts. The forests had several birds, including a woodpecker. Dogs need to be on a leash. There’s an outhouse at the entrance, and a small parking area.
We are by no means hikers, but heard about this from a friend. Due to the pandemic, the trail was one way, so we ended up taking the slightly tougher version, but it was worth it. It was a beautiful sunny day and the views were amazing. The forest was also beautiful. Not recommended if you are really really out of shape, as there were some spots that the footing was tricky and overall pretty good hike. We were tired, but like I said, totally worth it.
