It's a nice little swimming area with clean water, nice well kept sand, changing rooms and a washroom. There is also a store at the beach where you can order pizza, hot dogs, burgers, fries, drinks and chips. There's an adjacent splash pad too for little kids.
Stayed at this lovely park for a few months this 2018summer. Is surrounded by 5baseball fields. Camping lots are a little cramped together with nothing separating one lot from the next. Has a really nice manmade lagoon but there is an entrance fee.
Very nice park to got for a walk or bike with kids. We enjoyed walking around, reading about the history and learning about the quarry.nYou can also find coral fossils that my kids loved to find.
An excellent use of an old limestone quarry. There are very good baseball fields, a lake, and a community use building. It's a great venue for the annual Canada Day fireworks.
Beach was great. Excellent visitors center. We enjoyed the self guided trails through the quarry.
