Called and spoke with someone on the phone in regards to commercial law. I asked for the price of everything and he said his "fee" was $600. I didn't clue in that there was additional cost on-top of this, and he didn't say that there was on the phone. Went in to do the paperwork and pay, and turns out there was another $600 I had to pay for other things that he failed to mention on our initial phone call. I asked the gentlemen why this was, and he said that he only told me his fee on the phone and didnt include the other costs (that he knew about the whole time - and didn't tell me). He said that he "thought" that I would've known these costs (even though I'm not a lawyer or legal expert). Didn't make sense to me and I felt lured in. I also failed to mention the 20 minutes they left me waiting in their reception area. Then he requested that I keep my minute book there. I didn't mind paying the $600, but the fact he wasn't clear about it, when I asked him initally on our call is what bothers me. First and last time I deal with this law office.
