Stewart's Inc French Dry Cleaners

We have had our dry cleaning done here and would recommend them to anyone. We are only here for a season. And having good cleaners is imperative to know where to go.

I have had only good experiences with my actual clothing from Stewart's. And, within certain parameters, they deliver. Brilliant! The service experience can vary a ton depending on who is working the front when you're in, and the atmosphere is crazy hectic. But they produce good work and I frequent their establishment. My one consistent issue is actually paying them. Sometimes I can prepay, sometimes I can't. I've had tickets lost for months at a time. Etc. As they are a business I respect, I just wish I could simply guarantee them their money promptly for their service - but they are consistently inconsistent and I sometimes I have to make a separate trip just to 'settle up' later.

I gave this place a shirt to dry clean. When I went to pick it up a week later, they had washed the shirt instead of dry clean it. This had permanently set a stain into the shirt. When I asked what was going to be done, I was told that it was not the their fault, and it was my responsibility to take the shirt back to the store which I purchased it from. They refused to pay for another shirt even though they were the ones who damaged my clothing. They did offer to give me back $2 dollars (the price of the wash, but not the dry cleaning). Outrageous. Bottom line: Avoid this dry cleaners.
