Absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed my time here and will definitely return.
I'd give three and a half stars if I could. It's a cute little beach the first park in the county! and wasn't crowded when we went. The water is murky and there is a lot of lakeweed to navigate around, but swimming here was pleasant. Beautiful trees.
Beautiful and great for swimming! but couldn't stay more than a couple hours right now because of covid-19, bathrooms closed and water fountains are off
There beach was quieter than Devil's Lake would have been on such a nice day. However, there were weeds close to shore that were hard to swim through and it lacked shade close to the beach. Lovely trails.
This lake is a great fishing spot. There's one side that has a beach to swim at. There's also a few rope swings around the lake as well. During the summer and the weekend though be ready to have to listen to all the high school kids partying eating cheez its drinking their wine coolers.
Sweet little swimming hole outside of Madison. Kind of scummy but the water is warm and the swimming is good. Fishing and non-motor boats
