Steve's Bistro

I was blown away at how amazing the food was for the price. The atmosphere caters to an elegant fine dining experience but with a laid back feel. The service was amazing and the owner Steve even came out to greet us, he was very kind. 100% recommend trying this out.

I’ve been here a total of 3 times, my first visit was great, food is delicious and the waitress we had at this visit was friendly and attentive. However my last 2 visits we had a specific waitress who was extremely rude and barely around for drink refills or special requests even though the restaurant was empty. The last visit when we saw it was her again we just got up and left cause immediately when she greeted the table it was the same bad manner we had seen in the past. Won’t be going back unfortunately.

Basing this off of one experience! Solid right around 4/5. Enjoyable food, atmosphere, service. Prices OK. Food - liked it but didn’t love it, maybe 3.75/5 or so Service - around 4.2/5 Atmosphere - around 3.9/5 small place but when we were there it was pretty ‘quiet’! I’d definitely be uncomfortable if it were busy there, can only imagine due to the tight space how close others would be and how loud and such it’d be! Would we specifically recommend this restaurant to others, considering other restaurants around Winnipeg and area? No. Are there other restaurants nearby that I’d recommend? Yes! Are we going to go back? It’s possible, but not likely. I’d give an overall rating of around 3.85 or so if it were possible... doesn’t quite meet 4/5 in my opinion, but with this rating system it is definitely not a 3 or 3.5 out of 5!

We've been to Steve's Bistro a few times now. They're very friendly and inviting from the time you walk in the door. The food tastes great and the portions are filling. I recommend everyone try this place.Food: 4/5

I’ve been to Steve’s Bistro a number of times over the years and it’s a decent place. The food is generally pretty good. And Steve, the owner, is super friendly and will stop by your table to check in on you and strike up a conversation. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a comfortable feel. However, I find that the food can be inconsistent – i.e., the beef dip can sometimes be amazing and other times just average. But when the food is good, it's quite good. I just wish it was consistently so. On the past few visits I’ve ordered soft drinks and it’s always tasted a bit off. I’ve kindly asked them for a new soft drink on such occasions, and they fiddled with the soft drink dispenser behind the bar and improved it. But, after several requests like this over several visits, I have just stopped ordering soft drinks. Their desserts are pretty good so this is a decent place to stop in for coffee and dessert. I’ve never ordered breakfast here but the menu for it looks really good.

Steve's Bistro has become a regular attendance for us for breakfast, lunch and dinners. What keeps us coming back?...The friendly and attentive staff and also the consistency of preparation of the dishes. You can always count on Steve and his staff preparing your meals with a touch of Greek flavor and you can trust that it will always be consistently great. Today was no exception when 6 of us attended for breakfast and we had the Greek omelette, BLT and of course the Winnipeger. We highly recommend Steve's Bistro as your destination.

Had a lovely time. Food was very good and service was excellent, plus a nice relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating.

Was o.k. not a real fan of fountain pop. Would rather have canned or bottled. Ordered a meal pitawith no onions. Got onions. Wasnt impressed. Nice place. Probably won't go back. Pic is of mederterranian burger
